Totally forgot to order the DDE for this upcoming trip!!!!
What is the number to order it? I am assuming I should tell them that I need a temp one to be picked up in Epcot.
We will be arriving on a Sunday, anyone ever have any problems picking up a temp one??

From all ears.net:
MEMBERSHIP AND CARD INFORMATION: Call Disney's Dining Experience office at (407) 566-5858, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Membership is not available on property. Membership is only available by mail or phone.
NOTE: Allow several weeks for processing. If you will visit Walt Disney World before you receive your membership card, you can arrange to pick up a letter of authorization from a Guest Relations office. You will need to show a photo I.D. to pick up this letter
Looks like you'll be fine Cobbler, don't worry!

The only thing that may be cause for concern is the reality that the DDE staff doesn't work on weekends. Since you're already too late to get the card in-hand, I'd personally wait until maybe Thursday before you depart to call. That gives them Thursday and Friday to get the temp card to Epcot's Guest Relations--a task they can normally complete in the same business day. If you call too early, you run the risk of someone at DDE forgetting or Guest Relations losing the temp card. Then you're stuck until probably Monday afternoon (earliest you could get the card if you call Monday morning to resolve the problem.)
And, no matter how well you plan the call, there's always the possibility the card could get lost in transit.
Hopefully everything will work OK. But DDE is one of those things where if the card isn't waiting for you at Epcot that Sunday night, there's nothing they can do to help you until Monday.

You can pick up the temp one any day of the week as long as you've ordered it via phone in advance.
We had no trouble doing this our first time ordering it.

I did this just before our October trip. I think I called on Monday and our check-in was Wednesday. They had a letter waiting for us at EPCOT Guest Services. I just had to show picture ID and then they gave me the letter. You shouldn't have any problems at all.

I believe you must call at least 24 hrs ahead.

Thanks everyone!!
I think I will call Wednesday before Thanksgiving to have one waiting for me at Epcot.
I called a couple of days ago and was listening to the message and they said that the card wouldn't be held at the post office.
Well since I will be gone for over a week, my luck is they would send it while I was on vacation and never get it.
So I will wait until just before we leave.

If you call and tell them when you are arriving at WDW, they have the letter waiting for you at EPCOT Guest Services. There is no way on your short timeframe that they could put the card in the mail to you at this point. I haven't even received the one I ordered in October yet.
