Yay, Laura!! Our newest tech-expert!!

Thanks for posting these videos. Somewhere on the interenet, I found the WDW opening special hosted by Julie Andrews. It was so surreal because it was obviously filmed while the MK was still under construction and crowds were imported for the various scenes.

The opening day footage of Meredith Wilison conducting 76 trombones, 110 coronets, et al down Main Street and having them fill in the hub, though, was quite emotional. I wonder if that segment found its way to YouTube?

That was really special to see. Did you notice at the end when they showed the exterior of the hotel tha there was absolutely no landscaping at all.

Hey girls and boys, when I saw this 'commercial' for the Contemporary in 1971, I was flabbergasted that it said that the Contempory and the Poly were OWNED by US Steel?????WOW!
