Hi guys! I guess now I can jump in and be a part of the family.... We drank the :hypnotict "Kool-Aid" :hypnotict last week while on the Disney Magic, and now as I type, my signed documents and check made out to Disney Vacation Development are in the Fed-Ex envelope waiting for its first class trip to Florida.

I have read and re-read as many forum posts as I could find, and honestly, could not find a better way to spend my Disney Dollars. I have looked past all of the nay-sayers that seem to be everywhere and decided to take the plunge! :yes:

I look forward to sharing my experiences and gathering DVC wisdom from all of you experts!

Well..... we ususally stay to Ft. Wilderness w/ our RV in October, but since my daughter is in year round school, we might sneak down again the last of week of January at SSR. I think if we use our points wisely, we will be able to squeeze in 2 trips/yr.

After we got off the ship last Saturday after signing, we stayed one night at the BWV on our newly aquired "developer points". This gave us a chance to visit SSR and stretch even more Disney time before having to return home. We can't wait to actually stay at SSR. I think I like it better than BWV.

Heu Duane. We are literally neighbors. Hubby and I live in North Raleigh and work in Cary. :welcome: to MouseOwners and DVC.


You are going to love the year-round schedule for working in trips to WDW. We started our son in year-round the first year it was available here in Raleigh and at first I wasn't sure what we had gotten him into, summer in school and everyone else was outside playing :worried: , but in September, we literally drove down the street and waved at everyone at the bus stop as we were hitting the road to a very uncrowded WDW. :sunny:

We are getting to the point that we have several MouseOwners here in the area. Maybe we should consider a MO meet .

Rwe, Yeah we love the year round schedule. Our daughter is now in the 5th grade and has been in this program since kindergarden. Since she is on Track 3, this is how we always end up at Disney in October.

We usually take our RV down and stay at Ft. Wilderness in October, but when Ashleigh tracks out again in January/February, we're leary about pulling that thing out. With our new DVC membership, we can go back to Disney and enjoy some warmer weather.

We don't actually live in Apex, just have an Apex address. We are in between Cary and Garner, and, Raleigh and Holly Springs. We're near the Holly Springs Rd/ 1010 Rd. area. Ashleigh goes to West Lake Elementary.

Anyway, I hope to share and enjoy the information here about our favorite place in the world!
