I just booked this for Nov 29th . With the DVC dicount it is just $46.00 and includes lunch at the Columbia House. I thought I'd take the 8;30 tour since the park opens at 9....I'll get to see the 'empty' park for a few minutes at least!!!

Back with the Tour REport!
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. But instead of people lined up outside waiting to get in...well, it was raining Plutos and Goofies and the only people there were the Keys people and the early PS breakfasters. I had just picked my pass up the day before, but in my rush to be ontime, I left it in the car.
No ID either....but they gave me a new AP anyway...I feel pretty lucky cause if I had returned to the car I would have held up about 19 people IN THE RAIN.

We were given nametags and headphone sets that actually worked out well, once you got the hang of it. Our tour guide was funny and the amount of 'new' information offered on the tour was impressive. The tour includes lunch at Colombia house and there was a surprise waiting for us under our placecards.

We walked down main street, to Liberty Square, behind the scenes to see the parade staging area and huge garbage vacs. We rode the Jungle Cruise with the tour guide telling us the scoop on the ride, showing us hidden mickeys. (The JC 'pilot' stayed with and tho he didn't speak, his facial expressions alone were worth the price of the tour. I really wanted to go around again, this time hearing his spiel which I thought would be very funny)

Then lunch in our own 'private dining room' and then we walked through a store to get back and down into the utilidors.

I highly recommend this tour...and don't want to go into too much detail about the info given so as not to spoil anything for you. Don't know whether it was the listening so hard energy output, the time spent standing (I can walk forever, but I don't do well standing in one spot), or fighting the rain all day (slippery shoes and flimsy plastic poncho)...but I went back to my digs after the tour and fell asleep for a couple hours!

Thanks for the review. My DW and I are planning on this tour one day during our May trip.

I did the same thing. I kinda laughed-off the whole idea of it being a tiring event. After all, you're on your feet for well over 4.5 hrs per day at Disney, right? What's the big deal?

Well, it was a big deal. I was exhausted after the tour. Part of it was bad shoes that left my feet blistered and sore. But I was just physically drained.

Don't plan a late night out after KttK!!! :)

Hi Tim...glad to know it wasn't just me.
I can go commando at the parks and outenergy everyone....but I was really tired. I admit that Ihad been up late several nights in a row, had some legal stressors sucking on my brain, but still...it just took me by surprise. Glad I have an annual pass or I might have forced myself to 'stay and play'.

For those who don't have annual passes: there are a couple tours that don't require park admission and so, in their own way, are better 'deal's' if you don't have an AP. Dive Quest and the other aquarium tours don't require a day pass to Epcot.
