Are you guys ready for more? On our recent trip, I was really under the weather, in fact, still am, so I was the scout and hubby and son took most of the pictures. It was so fun to walk around and just point and say "Where in the World" and they would start snapping away. I hope I have enough to stump you guys for a while, but you are a pretty tough audience. So, here we go with more Where in the World........

O.K., I'll give it a while to see if folks are still interested or not.
The maps in the background look like Paris, but I'm drawing a blank on this one.

You can guess as many times as you wish, and please do.

Sorry Rozzie, not correct. Maybe I need to check that area out the next time I am at OKW.

Above teh counter at the pastry shop?
RweTHEREyet
10-31-2006, 06:04 PM
Nope, not in the pastry shop. But you guys are at least in the right park and in the right country.
If I were doing these, I would never get any of them at all, so I am impressed with the guesses you do come up with.

Is it in the art gallery type store across from Guerlain (sp??)
RweTHEREyet
10-31-2006, 08:49 PM
no, it's not there either. And I can tell you that every person that has been to France has passed by this thing, maybe didn't notice it, but has passed by it.

O.K., here we go. This picture is actually a display case that is mounted on the stone wall to your left, just as you cross over the bridge from UK to France. If memory serves me, when you look to your left, right after crossing the bridge, you would see it before you ever see the first vendor that is set up. It has actual books, maps, etc in it, so the case is big enough to house the actual items that you see in the picture.
I am betting each of you has seen this and passed by it every time you were in France.

Seeing things like this is what I get when I don't feel good and walk slower than anyone else in my group.
