View Full Version : Anyone else in rehab?
...and no, I don't mean drug or alcohol rehab, but some sort of physical therapy?
I'm trying to fix an iliotibial band syndrome injury so that I can still make the 1/2 marathon in January. Today is the first day that I had to admit to myself it might not be possible.

You'll be there. I'll see you at the starting line.... and at the finish line.:sunny:

Some might say I need to be in rehab.:slyasafox
Just wanted to say hang in there, and these things have a way of always working out for the best. I think too, you'll be at the start and finish line. :)

Oh - I've had that in both legs. Not a lot of fun. I do remember that after only about 2 weeks I was pretty much better (still sore, but not horribly painful). I'll bet as long as you do everything they tell you (and take motrin) you'll make it!
For sore/strained muscles I recommend a good Yuengling bath.
OK, good news is that since being down here in The World, I did string together 1.2 mi of running with no inkling of pain. Maybe because I chugged a beer right before I went over to the gym? Possibly out of one rehab and into another! See ya there, Rozzie! :fresh:

I almost got a hangnail.
I'm rehabbing it on the couch.

Forgive me for being the last one to this party :Paranoid: I am going to blame it on my injuries, both surgery inflicted and self-inflicted:faint: I have been living in rehab...
It sounds like you are definitely mending, nono, and that is great!!!
I am continuing to work out at a much reduced intensity and I am not fast enough at this point to walk in either Disney marathon...
