Heaven knows why I didn't know about this forum, but I discovered it today, joined and wanted to say Aloha to everyone!

We've been DVC members at OKW since 1994, are originally from Chicago, moved to Kailua Kona 7 years ago, and will be moving (if everything falls into place) to Orlando mid-next year.

This looks like a lovely forum. I'm happy to have found you.

you've found the friendliest bunch of people here. I'm from Kentucky, lived in London for 15 years and moved to Orlando (Celebration) last year. You'll love it. Let me know if i can help.

A-looooooooooooooooooooo-HA!

I love the Big Island, especially the Kailua Kona area. It's big city and small town all wrapped into one (or at least it was in 1979).

ALOHA!! Having spent a college semester in Hawaii, and now living in Chicago myself, I am jealous, jealous, jealous. Even more jealous that you are moving to Orlando. You are now my roll model. :bowdown: Hope to follow in your footsteps, move back to the islands, and on to WDW forever.

Aloha Nancy!

I just found this forum as well and am looking forward to learning more things about DVC! We have owned since 2000, and have had 2-3 DVC vacations per year since then! I love it!!!!! I noticed that you have taken some HGVC vacations as well. How do you like it? We are looking into that as well--Do you think it is worthwhile?
