We origionally took the "tour" in 2000 during our very first visit to WDW. At $65 a point, it was just something we couldn't afford. Subject closed.
Now I am planning our 5th visit for March 06, and was looking into just renting points. One thing led to another and now two days later after finding your web site... we just fed-x'd a contract back with a deposit to purchase 230 points for OKW as a resale.
Now we are just giddy :jumpingbe about owning a piece of the mouse. My how quickly things change. Looking forward to learning more about how to get the most out of our vacations.

I bought a small contract to use as a "2nd bedroom" if my mom comes to visit (actually, I am planning to take her to Vero in the Spring) or to use myself if I move away from here. Then of course there is swapping out with II......

You're gonna LOVE DVC. After going the "wait and hope and pray for the codes to come out, do the parks commando because i never knew when I was going back" for years, I bought into DVC in 2003.

Like you, I looked at it years ago and did not have the finances to buy in. Then as my kids got older (and money got a lot less tight) we decided to rent points to stay at BWV. My two daughters and I were tired of sharing one room/bathroom, even at a Deluxe. I read about renting DVC points, decided to give it a try, and I loved BWV so much I bought in within a month of returning from that trip. I have never regretted for a second, in fact as the years go by I am happier and happier I bought in.

Welcome to our community, I think you'll find a lot of nice folks here. If you haven't already been there check out community hall, that's where a lot of the fun is on this site.

We just went into point of First refusal- Got my fingers crossed. Hopefully, they make up their mind real quick! :fingerscr
