I noticed Doug's hair is getting a big ragged and suggested last night that he let me trim it a bit. He surprised me with his response.

He said he wanted to get it cut at the barber shop on Main Street USA, and get some glitter in his hair.

Sounds to me like he's a keeper. :scratchch

I've always wanted to be cut by the Main Street Barbers as well, though I'll forego the glitter. (clashes with my eyeliner.)

Let me know how it goes!

Ummm...I think that's what us ladies call going to a spa. ;) (Remind me not to post my Friday activities in my trip report)

My dh would not want to waste MK time on a necessity of life type thing. Cool for DOug though!!!!!

I'm running out of time to get my haircut before our trip, so I may hit the barbershop chair too. Though, it's probably cheaper than what I pay for my usual haircut (though not by much, The Viking, after all I live in a UEZ!!!)

UEZ ? That's my town. 3.5% sales tax !

Just had my Didnee haircut yesterday. My hair hasn't been this short since bootcamp. Told the girl I didn't care what she did with hair. Guess she was having a bad day.

DH has gotten his done at MK three times now.
First time Purple, second was blue and this last trip was orange.

I would never have it done, but he walks around tall and proud. He has gotten lots of comments on it.

We always make sure we stop at the Photopass folks that day and ask for them to pose him so the top of his hair shows.

Gotta love him. I agree ghost he is a keeper.

I think for an adult it is $18.00.
This last time he was the only one in the place and she really did a nice job with the cut and pixie dust.

I'm so low maintenance that I just turn my head upside down, grab it and cut straight across about 4 inches every 3 months.

But for $18, I think I might like to try the barber shop! Do ya think they'd cut women's hair for the same price?

Wow. $18 is a pretty good price for a haircut. Cheaper than what I pay at home for a haircut.

He got it done on Halloween (it was his Halloween costume for MNSSHP). Afterward, we were eating ice cream and watching the parade on Main Street USA. A CM walked up to him and asked him his name. She was on the dream team and produced a dream certificate for the "best hairdoo on Main Street USA".

Boy, I thought I'd never want a haircut on Main Street. But after seeing your pics, all doubt has been removed.

Penny actually did a very good job with the haircut. And she was a lot of fun to talk with. She was careful keeping the sideburns on an even keel, and even trimmed some stay hairs around and about the head. I think she even trimmed up his moustash.

Ok...I think I'm gonna go for it. A hair cut.

Wish me luck!
