Sorry, but it's still early.
What are you talking about ?
I think we should hit people with a Purple Club.

I didn't know vikings worried about the color of their clubs! I just assumed any ol' one would do. :innocent:

We don't. But since Mush asked for a color, I gave her one.
Haven't you heard? Lime green is no longer politically correct.

Considering the color scheme of the board, I vote for purple too.

Oh yeah! The color of the logo would be good - but I don't think Viking will like it very much. He seems more of a primary color type guy!
ETA - - - Oh my - I just realized Viking suggested purple to begin with....... I guess I was wrong!

Which would mean I was right...again.....as usual.
Actually, I really can't see purple. The Crayon box in my eyes is only the economy, eight crayon version. I wasn't born with that big box with the sharpener built into it.

ummm - I am not sure what colors your crayon box came with, but my 8 crayon version had purple. (or grape when Crayola was making crayons kids actually were PROUD to eat!)

ok - well - I think my DH would have to argue about the "purple is manly" thing - although my DS wants to dye his hair purple - so hey - who knows. Violet is definitely more girlie - it's even a girl name - so there ya go.:crackedup

I seem to recall from my high school physics class, that the colors of the spectrum are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and VIOLET. My teacher specifically took points off if you said purple.

Sadly, I's status was changed and it is now forced to float around out in the deep dark recesses of space with that "no longer a planet" Pluto.

OK....I can deal with Pluto not being a planet since he really is a dog.
BUT, losing INDIGO out of the color spectrum.
NO , says I.
I remember ROY G BIV and ROY G BIV it will stay.
Next they'll be changing: every good boy does fine

And yes, our MO color is the purple that was 'happily ever after' or something...I have a mickey head color name here somewhere.

btw Mar - Mushu's questions is referring to the fact that if you wear lime green in the parks, you might be recognized by a DIS user as a DISer. She is asking what color is our color and as CB pointed out, I think the color chosen was the purple that can be found at Home Depot in the Mickey paints called...errr.....dang it - totally left my memory banks!!!
I have never gone into Home Depot to get the paint sample card but I was going to use two of them back to back in a Mickey Head shape, laminated as our luggage tags and on our backpack just in case we meet up with someone that might know :)

I know I voted for purple (or violet) to be our color, but considering this thread I now think our color should be indigo.
And Princess Bride was just released on DVD recently. They have two versions (the DVD content is identical, just the packaging is different)--The Princess Buttercup edition and the Dread Pirate Roberts edition.
Here's the one I bought:

And I might add that on my last trip to Costco, there were something like 9 Princess Buttercup editions left and only one Dread Pirate edition.

haha - like Disney, they did a 10th anniv re-release I believe. I had just paid less than $10 for it when they did the "new" release one. No one wants to miss a trick money wise. Look at how many versions of STar Wars there have been. Its a conspiracy I tell ya!

I think it was originally suggested to use Princess Purple or Dreams Come True. But as I recall it, after much debate we decided any dark purple was fine, we weren't going to worry about the exact shade/name. Here's a link to the various shades if anyone wants to take a look:
