Ok inspired by Carolina_yankee, who would like to make this board a little more active ;) .......

Anyone with Disney Cruises lined up already? Maybe some other MO's will be cruising with you :jumpingbe

I'll start! We're going on the 11/11/07 Eastern cruise (or is it 11/10??). Me, DH, DS, DD, Dparents, Dsis, Dbil and Dnephew (3 sperate cabins LOL)

Can I list the imaginary ones in my head, which include the Med Cruise in teh Roy O Disney suite? :hahahaha:

The Eastern cruise should be awesome that time of year!!

Little less than 2 months until our first DCL trip. Just a little 3 day trip the week before Thanksgiving. The only 3 day all year that leaves on a Sunday. We are pretty excited. I can't wait to see the look on the kids faces when they see that ship. Anyone else going to be on that trip?

DS17 chose the DCL cruise for his HS graduation present. I thought he'd prefer RCCL but I was wrong. DH, DS, and I are booked on the 2/17 Eastern Magic in one of the "obstructed view" cabins 6134.

We're going on the 4 night Wonder for Memorial Day 2007. Sets sail on the 27th.

I haven't told the girls yet. They have been begging to go back on one since the last cruise we took in January and I keep telling them we'll have to save up for another one one day. :Pssst:

I did a pretty elaborate pirate treasure box scavenger hunt last Christmas to surprise them for the cruise. I'm not sure what I'll do this time. If I tell them at Christmas they'd have to wait until May and that seems like an awfully long time for a kid to wait. :idontgeti

Hi Shan!

We're going on the Mousefest 4-night cruise -- Dec 3. Never been on a 7-night, but I think the 4-night is just about perfect!

I wish that DCL would have done a Greek island Med. Cruise. If they had we woulda been cruising on DCL next year.

Enjoyed the 4-nighter DCL in 2004. Booked DCL 7-nighter in December 2006 - special itinerary (Costa Maya & Cozumel are the ports).

For my daughter they came out at dinner during dessert and sang happy birthday, gave her a cool small cake and gave her a DCL birthday button.

Make sure to remind your server on the first night. He'll probably ask what night you what to celebrate it on. (Our server asked me in private as he did have it noted for us already.) Or when you arrive on the Navigator there will be a time listed when you can go confirm dining requests.

I will be going on the 4 day cruise November 12th --- 16th. This wil be our first so it's like coming to Disney for the first time again. We will start the the trip at the Boardwalk Inn for 2 nights and on the back end it will be the Wilderness lodge villa's for 3 nights in a 1 bedroom.

We have two cat 10 deluxe inside rooms 7505 and 7507 that are together so we will have one big room.I wanted to get balcony rooms but the extra $1500--$2000 difference was to much for me on just a 4 night cruise.I wii get the balcony rooms on the 7 day trip that I will try and book while on the cruise for sometime in 2008.

Our next trip will be our 8th annual July 4th trip and we will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge for 10 nights.

We did a 7 day Eastern in '04 and a 4 day Christmas cruise last Christmas.

This year, we (husband) had some extra vacation time, a 40th birthday and a 15th anniversary to celebrate. So we took a chance and (no flames please) booked a non Disney cruise. PS we have no kiddos.

We struggled with that though. Disney is definately in our comfort zone, but we really wanted to experience another ship. We looked at the QM2 (had some awesome rates) but decided that ship was too fuufy.

So we booked a cruise on the Celebration Millennium, Eastern again, but some different ports than our Disney cruise. We paid a little extra for the Concierge Class upgrade. With the verandah.

We will stay at VWL until Dec 8th and then to WPB to hook up with our friends and on the 10th we board the 'Millie'. Wish us luck!

And happy cruising to all on the DCL. What a fun ship that is????

Very first cruise is coming up May 6.. just a short 4 day'r to see if we like it. I figured we'd try a cat 6. We'll see how it goes. If we decide we aren't cruisers, we can lick our wounds the following week at OKW.

Shan, you sure you can't change your dates??

Looks like she might get fireworks for her birthday! (or close to it) On Dec 7th a space shuttle launch is currently scheduled for 9:38PM. If that doesn't change, be sure to be out on deck to watch it. It should be spectacular!

Thanks for the tip I hope they don't change that it would be pretty cool to see from the water not to sure how far away from teh coast we will be at that time of night but I am sure we will be able to see some of it I imagine. Do you have a link as to where to get the info on the launch and if it is still going to happen?

Our cruise was cancelled (the Celebrity one) for Dec 10th. The ship has 'pod problems'. But they gave us a 100% refund AND a free cruise for next year. Lemons to lemonade!:kickingco
