OK, crazy friend invited us to an ice cream party. They provide all the fixin's, bowls, spoons, etc,. Guest bring ice cream to share.
So, dear Member Friends, what flavor(s) should I bring?

Are you making it homemade? If you are doing homemade, there is a really easy Wendy's frosty type recipe that you can make in your ice cream maker at home. I've taken it the last couple events and everyone loved it. Here's a link to it

If not doing homemade, our family loves the Birthday cake ice cream. I think even walmart has their own version of it now.

Freeze a couple jugs of Yuengling and instead of ice cream, you can serve Icees, Snow Cones or Slushees.

Well, personally, I'm more of a double chocolate fudge with chocolate chunk kinda ice cream fan - or something in the coffee-capuccino flavors.
DW is more a sherbet, fruit flavor gal.
And yeah we get along just fine.
Erin, homemade sounds great, but that's a chic thing. I'm thinking one trip to the store on the way to the party. Should take 3 minutes or less if I time it right.

Sorry missed that....
Personally, I'd stop at Carvel (or similar LOL) on the way to the party!
Carvel's a good solution. Now what about flavors.
Should I worry much about what others will eat? Stick with bland, run of the mill types? Go exotic? Or just buy what I like to eat and the heck with the others?

I love choc-peanut butter and cookie dough flavors.
I think if you are going to big party with all types of different taste buds, I would get one fairly safe, and one kinda more exotic. That's just me though! :chef:

Butter pecan and swiss chocolate with almonds are my two favorite flavors, but honestly I haven't met an ice cream flavor I would say no to.
If they are providing the mixings, toppings, etc, I dont think I would spend the money on anything other than traditional store bought 1/2 gallons. Part of fun will be mixing it yourself correct?
