I couldn't help it...I didn't realize it till I said it...! It just kinda popped out!!

Ds is getting on the school bus this morning- bus is stopped and he is walking up- He is the last pick up before school so the bus was packed-

I open my mouth to wish him a good day and I said..."Dont forget...a smile means friendship to everyone!"

I could see him cringe... I guess not the "coolest" thing to say in front of a bus load of kids! :bagovermy

Yeah, you embarrassed him - BIG TIME!

But inside you know he was smiling!

That's all you did ? He'll survive.

From the title of your thread though I was certain he must have left a door unlocked.

:ROTFL: I like the saying though...very cute.

I think my DS would be happy if that was all I or DH said to embarrass him :innocent:

Viking Viking Viking....mind always in that same place isn't it?

*smile* Jigger - I am sure I will start doing things like that to mine soon. I already get the "mmmooooommmmmm" moan from time to time now. hehe

 Laura

Yes, but since you had no problem understanding the implication on my post it's a pretty fair bet my "mind" isn't lonely in that "place".

lol Shan is a much nicer lady than I and might not appreciate that comment!

Actually, I am pretty willing to admit that my mind being in the gutter suits me well. Just, you know - family site and all. :p

So you keep the comments coming and I will keep laughing over here in the gutter. :D

MO needs an UnModerated Board. I think "The Gutter" would be the perfect name.

I can see it now.

Ok Ladies and Gentlemen, please keep up. Have to keep the group together. Can eveyrone hear me? Oh good.

Here we have the Community Hall, the perfect place for any DVCer to come, relax, find some fun games and activities....next on our tour, The Gutter.

Oh the crowd it would attract! :lmbo:

I am confused.... Yes, he's a bad Viking but, what was so wrong about this going into the gutter in 12 posts? :innocent:

And, I thought it was a parent's duty to embarrass their kids.

You should have told him to have a Zip-a-dee Doo-Dah-Day.

And, I thought it was a parent's duty to embarrass their kids.Oh so true. We earned that right fair and square and we expect them to inherit the right someday as well.

Embarrass-away!

If we couldn't embarrass our kids, why on earth would we keep them?
