Increase in Discount?

Am I imagining this or what? Didn't I see somewhere that DVC increased their percentage dining discount from 10% to something higher? 15% maybe?

I cannot confirm this info anywhere...maybe I'm not looking in the right places...

At certain locations, Yes, the discount was raised. Don't recall the details, the info is in the lasted VM.

Resort and Theme Park restaurant dining is still primarily 10%.

EPCOT World Showcase restaurant discounts are 20% for lunch only at Chefs de France and Nine Dragons. San Angel Inn has a 10% discount on lunch.

DTD restaurants are still 10% off except Fultons 20% on lunch, McDonalds 20% on lunch or Extra Value Meals, and 20% at Portabello Yacht Club and House of Blues lunch.

Hmmm...too bad they didn't increase it for more of them. Perhaps we'll give PYC a shot. We've never eaten there.

FWIW, we rarely use the DVC discount. The AP discounts are broader, and we use the DDE to get 20% off at most WDW restaurants. It doesn't take long to pay for itself with the four of us, and we line it up with our AP so we can get multiple trips out of one purchase. Just a thought. :)

If we were getting multiple trips out of it, that would be a sure thing. But we'll only be getting one 8-day trip out of it. I factored those discounts and additional costs in and we chances are we really wouldn't recuperate much beyond.

That combination is a great one, though!
