I am probably the one DVC member who appreciates the discount at MacDonald.

my allergies makes the other restuarant just about impossible - so I do appreciate MacDonald....

I enjoy MickeyD's food. Gimme 3-4 Big Mac's, supper size fry, hot apple pie & a diet cola & I'm good for about 4 hours.

We've never been to the Mickey D's at DTD, but we usually end up hitting one of the fry stands during a trip. We've also eaten at Restaurantosaurus once or twice. That's pretty much McDonald's food, isn't it?

I'm the typical Mom - I go to McDonald's for my comfort and for my two toddlers, but I come away with the designer plates. At like 4 bucks a piece they are great to bring home.

We also use that discount.

McD's had the best chicken biscuit in the world (we think). But the discount is sometimes different. One time it is buy one get one free (the best deal) and another time it is 20% off. Either way, it is now a 'last day at WDW ritual'. We pack up the room, drive to breakfast there and hit the road.:coolcar:

It's the simple things in life that are so much fun :woohoodan .

We do the same Muushka, but it is for lunch. We spend the morning packing the car and strolling around DTD. The boys get to play at Lego Land until their little hearts are content while I browse the shops and then we all trudge over to McDonalds for lunches before we hit the road.

Sometimes we can get the discount, other times we can't. Either way, it is a meal I know the boys will eat, it is inexpensive (by Disney standards for sure) and we buy a couple of chocolate shakes to share on the road - - - which makes leaving a bit of fun instead of all sadness.

We went to the DTD location (and used our DVC dicsount) to quell a two-kid meltdown in Epcot when we couldn't get any table service and the kids were ready to pack it in. It made for a much more pleasant evening back at the villa!:)
