I already ordered the wall plaque and Mickey door mat....put a nice wishlist together for my family that included the 3 hitchhiking ghosts and tombstones.

I'm one of those crazy people that goes all out for Halloween with decorations, music, special treats, etc.

thanks a lot guys. I ended spending over $70 bucks. I ended up in the outlet and cleaned house on men polo's for $9.99! Also a fuzzy blanky 50%, and some grumpy lounge pants. Oh yeah, the mickey halloween doormat, which is the reason I went over there for in the first place. :Pssst:

I used to go all out for Halloween too!!!!!
Music, tombstones, cobwebs. I even put the moving hand in the middle of the candy dish...sort of creeped out the little trick or treaters, but that meant more candy left for me. HA!

I had a tape that my XDH hooked up to speakers and it really made the trek up our driveway SPOOKY.

It all came in handy when I did the Haunted House for the Elementary School Halloween Carnival when DD was in 5th grade.

Sigh.

I bought a HUGE blow up spider last year in after H sales. It is about 10 feet across and I have it 'climbing' my porch rails. Cool. but where I live, I don't get any trick or treaters. (too cold and snowy at 9600 feet). Guess I'll have to have a Halloween party!!!

OK, not exactly the Haunted Mansion theme, but I bought an inflatable lighted pirate Mickey at Walgreens today for $19.99. I couldn't resist it!

Sadly, DH missed the really good sale :boohoohoo The hitchhiking ghosts were about $85 the first day but they are up to $130 again now. How many times can you stress to someone.....1 day sale!! Better order soon!! Did you order yet??? etc over the course of 1 day!! :rant:

OK, I promised DH I would post and say that he has redeemed himself. He found the ghosts on sale back at $89 and used the 20% off code so they came to about $65 a piece. As soon as he bought them, he told me (hmmm...so much for surprises for my birthday :rolleyes:..but atleast I know I'm getting something this time!) then told me to post on my MO board that he came through and made up for his previous "neglect".

I don't know if the name plate stays on. I picked it up once and started wondering how the heck I was going to put it up anywhere! I didn't realize it would be so heavy!! :hammer: But I was worried about the name plate too...seems very flimsy to me :veryconfu

Editted to add...I got the ghosts the other day....they are huge! Well, I assume they are...the boxes are all bigger than DD and sitting in my dining room LOL DH refuses to put them in the basement just to have to bring them back up in a few weeks. They are also pretty heavy. So we'll be walking around these 3 gigantic boxes for a while....which is probably a good thing since I don't think they will fit anywhere I thought I could put them. May have to get DFather to build me a special table for them :headscrat
