In the vein of PhotoPass, Disney is now testing the PhotoMovie service.
www.disneyphotomovie.com
For just under $50, you can upload your own digital trip photos and have them integrated into a custom trip DVD complete with park and attraction scenes, theme park tunes, and more.
From the site:
Create a one-of-a-kind vacation keepsake that combines your memories with the magic of the Walt Disney WorldŽ Resort. Simply add your own digital photos and, if you have some, claim your Disney's PhotoPass images. We add the Disney Magic with breathtaking video, music and playful Disney characters.
Your PhotoMovie DVD includes a personalized Disney's PhotoMovie combining Disney video, characters and music with your favorite photos. Include up to 5 themed chapters with as many as 68 of your own photos.
Sample movies are viewable on the website.
My own $.02: The price is too high. For $40, I'd be considering it. For $30, I'd have done it already. Fifty bucks is too much. I'll wait and hope for a DVC discount offer like they did when PhotoPass was first introduced.
