I'm not trying to make anyone sad, but I'm just wondering what is no longer in Disney World that you miss. We were there in June and ate dinner at the Garden Grill. I was disappointed to see there are no longer Mickey shaped cucumbers in the salad. How about you?

I miss so many things! But I'm a sentimental person and hate to see anything go.
The mickey cucumbers reminded me about the big soft Mickey pretzels they used to sell in the Sleepy Hollow stand. They were awesome!!
I also miss Horizons, World of Motion, Mr Toad...pretty much everything that's gone now. :crymeariv

Actually, our 2nd trip ever in '97 we stayed at POFQ, it was just after Thanksgiving, everything was decorated for Christmas. Every night when we came back to the resort we'd stop in the lobby & have free cookies, coco & hot cidar at this little cart that was there. We thought it was the coolest thing and thought it was a Christmas staple at The World.
We returned the following year - to OKW,now as DVC members - and were suprised to find no cart at OKW. So we drove over to POFQ to steal a little Christmas cheer only to find the carts were gone from there also. Apparently, the carts were part of one of the many anniversaries that happen at WDW.

If you had wings, had wings.....
Mr. Toad
I know this one might seem weird, but I always having a wonderful memory of the CMs closing the monorail door. The sound of thud, thud, thud somehow was exciting for me as a child.
20,000 leagues.
Being able to pet the horses on Main Street. Not get yelled at. Sometimes I wish there was a card I could show identifying myself as horse lover, non wacko, former multi horse owner that would give me special access to those precious babies.
I could go on forever it seems. I don't do well with change. :violinist

DL Journey Thru Inner Space, Peoplemover, Rocket Rods (sob!)
Epcot World of Motion and Horizons
MK Mr Toad, original Tiki Room
Everywhere - making reservations on the day of dining only (I wish they'd go back to that!), and seeing ppl dress up for Disney! (ok, I don't want to wear nylons and heels, but I love seeing pictures of the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970's when going to Disney was still a big deal)

Knowing that every character meal we took the kids too when they were little is no longer-that's what I miss the most. My favorite-Melvin the Moose at FW; Minnie's Menehuene at the Papette Bay Veranda (I think that's "sort of" the Stitch one, and it's now called Ohana's), and the Donald Duck breakfast at Empress Lily. Lots of dining places I miss-besides the ones above, Bonfamile's at POFQ (especially their breakfast buffet), and the Top of the World Brunch; being able to eat breakfast at the French Pastry Shop because WS opened the same time as FW; miss "Tomorrow's Child" soundtrack at Spaceship Earth; miss the Future Corps Band; miss the Main Street Marching Band; miss the Skyway.
Although there are a lot of things I miss, there's only 1 attraction I really miss. But I've got a long list of attractions added at WDW since my first trip that I love. So it more than balances out.

I miss the original, original, original Journey into Imagination (with Figment and Dreamfinder).
We got to see the "cat/bat" Figment while we were on the Backstage Magic tour.
