Yes, that's right - list which Disney movies you did NOT like, or refuse to buy, for whatever reason!

In our family... we buy a copy of most any Disney movie that comes along. HOWEVER... there are a few that I simply have not purchased, either because they did not interest our family or because I had "issues" with them.

Cases in point:

We don't own Robots. Or Home on the Range. And I wish we didn't own the TIgger Movie. Why? No one is remotely interested in watching them. THe kids figured out the HOTR plot within the first 5 minutes and tired of it after that. Several of us fall asleep watching Tigger. (This is in contrast to The Piglet movie... which DD loved, and I happen to think has a MUCH better plot line than sad pitiful famililess TIgger....)

Other cases in point: Hercules and Hunchback and Pinocchio. In these cases, there is something about these movies I find disturbing, in addition to the fact the kids aren't terribly interested in them. SO zippo interest in owning them. Hunchback especially.

How about it - anybody else?

Not fond of Emperor's New Groove, but it growing on me. Atlantis, Home on the range and that space one (why can't I think of the name?). And Hercules, which is sad because I love the music.

OHGOSH, Emperors new groove is the funniest movie EVER!!!

No Touchy!! Oh I love that movie!!!

No desire to buy any of the live action movies. Tron (whatever the crap that is). Atlantis sequel. Actually most sequels suck. The other stitch one that is coming out soon, saw previews, looks retarded.

I don't have home on the range. Previews didn't appeal to me but I wonder if I am missing something.

I believe the space one is Treasure Planet. Definitely will not be buying Emperor's New Groove. :blech:

I don't even know all of the "lesser" Disney movies, but I know for sure there are a lot of them we don't have. I even put off Little Mermaid for a long time because, hello, the evil bad witch blows up to giant proportions, and then they IMPALE her on a ship! Talk about family friendly. Now, the rest of the movie, or at least the majority of it, is really charming, so we did get it for my dd's last birthday, but we still fast forward a lot of parts. I don't like a lot of them because I think that Disney way overdose the evil-ness factor.

Speaking of which, we tried to watch Hunchback, and couldn't even get past the exposition, because the bad guy was so mean to a baby that my dd started crying and said she didn't want to watch anything with someone that mean.

Hunchback wasn't too great - but our least favorite would have to be Pocahontas.... don't know why - some of the songs were nice - but just the way they mangled a real historical story got to me I guess.....

Really? I love Hunchback. Perhaps I identify too much with quazi moto? Guess that's what makes the world go round.

I didn't care for Atlantis, nor like Pooh, but I really hated Lelo and Stitch.

I love the Pooh attractions at both DLR & WDW, but the movies....not so much. I don't hate them, they're just a bit TOO aimed at children. Lilo & Stitch, I loved the art direction of the movie, but the characters I found annoying.

Speaking of that movie... I love the music, but does anyone else think they really slammed polynesian women in that movie? THey all look a little like Lou Ferrigno - especially in the legs. Just make 'em green and put cut-off jeans on them - I'm telling you, Hulk-look-alikes. I've been to Hawaii - I don't recall coming away with that impression of the people!
