Hmmm, I think rather than state that I am a DVC Oldster, perhaps I should refer to myself as "seasoned" :howudoin:
What a nice website this is! I hope I will be able to contribute to some of the threads. We viewed OKW during the first week of December, 1991 and, for me, it was love at first sight!:loveisint We had trip expenses and the holidays were just around the corner. We had been in WDW for our "once in a lifetime" type trip and hadn't planned on returning any time soon. "We'll have to give it some thought" we told the DVC rep.
We joined the next month and have been OKW DVC'ers since January 1992.
I post on a few other boards, some slow down, some take off and become overwhelming to the point that I am unable to keep up with it, so I skip it entirely. You may recognize my "name". Likely not.
We are a retired military family, my husband spent 26yr in the Air Force. I taught science for many years, later I worked in the educational research field, now fully retired. My son is in college--dual majoring in Industrial Engineering and Safety--hopes to one day work for Disney
