OK, so I get online five minutes before Cheetah Girls / Hannah Montana tickets go on sale this morning so I can surprise my two girls - keep refreshing until the official sale time, put in any price, best available and... It is sold out?!? Try again, try again, then I call and still nada!

I find it amazing it would sell out within less than a minute?!? Sooo, all day I'm racking my brain trying to think of any connection I might have to anyone for the Arena... Call DH and get him networking...

Then tonight he gets online and says he found some for $160. Great I say, but then he goes on to say that is per person. OK, the most expensive tickets were only $45 - talk about a mark up! So I get online and start searching and I can't believe all the sites selling these tickets for UNREAL amounts of money. I must be living under a rock, but is this the norm these days if you want to get tickets to a concert?!?

No wonder the concert sold out so fast - all the tickets had already been "sold" to other brokers! :headbange

My DS - a Com Sci 'putor geek - explained to me how this happens. how brokers get into the website and your left refreshing till they're sold out. But I kinda zoned out after I realized he wasn't speaking Viking.

Anyway, what happened sucks.

BTW.... who are Cheethan and Hanna ?

And, something that happens with the American Idol tour is that they put tickets on sale to the fans first. They post the date they will go on sale, but if you are a member of their fan club, then you get a password and can purchase days in advance. Not sure if that happened here with you, but that is my experience.

Lisa and Paige went to see Hillary Duff and it cost us 145.00 for 2 tickets in the upper bowl so yes tickets are getting expensive for concerts now.
