I personally think Crocs are the ugliest shoes I've ever seen. :) But the Mickey picture above is cute. Maybe even cute enough that I would try them on. Thanks for sharing.

Yup, yup.

What is it about turnign circles to Mickey heads that makes you go from "No Way" to "Wher edo I sign up?". Off to see if there are pics of teh Pooh ones yet. Those may send me over teh edge for sure!

Guess sunburning a Mickey Head onto the top of my foot would be much kewler than red polka dots.

Ginger, whatever you do, don't go try them on, you won't want to take them off. They are more comfortable than any of the Birkenstocks that I paid so much more for.

lol I am with Ginger!

They are having trouble at the school where my sons attend and having to request sneakers on certain days of the week because so many children are wearing them (or probbly knock offs). They are odd looking to me and I have no desire. They also always look way oversized on their little feet. (maybe the parents dont want to buy them in the "exact" size for growing room).

We are passing for now, but those Mickey ones are cute.

Are they out yet? My girls really want some, and they would love those. I can't find kids sizes very easily, espcially since it's the end of summer, but we're going next month, an I was hoping to get them before then.

ROTL, Ginger - because my DH thinks my Birks are without a doubt the UGLIEST shoes in MY closet!! My friends in college had them (Birks) and swore how comfy they were, but like DH, I always said, "Why on earth would I want to pad around lookin' like a Jesuit?" And then I tried them on, and said, WHOA, comfy! I guess Feel won out over fashion for me, as I now own more than a few pair, despite DH thinking I look priestly in 'em. :sosad:

Same for the crocs. When my nieces all had 'em at college and my sister (a camp director) said they were ALL the RAVE with kids at camp, I thought, "Now WHY would I want to look like a duck with clogs on? And give myself retinal fatigue while I'm at it?!?" BUt that was just crazy talk - I tried on a pair and thought - WHOA - even better than the Birks! (I will also say - the "imposter" knock offs of crocs are NOT the same. Ya gotta get the real deal. )

WIll I get the mickey-headed ones? Not sure. Right now I'm angling for a standard pair in bright orange (to match my Baggallini that arrived AFTER we left for big vacation - rats. At least it's in pristine condition for the next trip, LOL.) But I wouldn't say no to a red pair. ANy chance they will make some in a color besides trademark red and black? (I kinda think Mickey shoes should be YELLOW, after all!) What about some Minnies in pink? And what kind of charms will these take - with that odd-shaped hole, will they be able to handle a charm, I wonder? Enquiring rodents wanna know!

Rozzie, aka Ms. Snooty Snoot , here to give her 2 cents.

I remember when I first saw Crocs at the hippy store, had to have them, as they were different and no one had them. I am a comfy Birkenstock snob, and tried them on. Niiiiiiiiice. Then it seemed it was required that you own 3 pairs to live in my county. That's okay. More the merrier, and I was so excited to take them on a WDW trip. OMG, they turned into devil shoes. Blisters on the top of my feet. Slid on my teva flilp flops for rest of week. So friendly warning, sometimes the sweat may create blisters if they don't fit your feet perfect, and I have weird feet. Just a side note, the only success I have had with shoes at WDW is Keds leather comfort fit. I don't wear them at home, but for WDW, we get along great.

For work, it seems there are 2 camps. To Croc or Not, is the question. I have my $250 birkies Professional line shoes that have lasted over 2 years now. They are heaven on my feet. Plus the holes scare me at work. You don't even want any exposed skin on your feet, IMHO anyway. :bugeyed: Lets just say body fluids fly.

For around the house and errands, I still have a pair. Usually though, birks or Mephisto are on my feeties. Then the teva flip flops that I live in.

Rozzie, Birkenstock snob. Will wear a croc if need be and close by.

I went to a No Fear store on Sunday and they said they would have the Mickey Crocs in before year end, but they were really looking forward to the Pooh, Princess, Cars, etc ones. They won't be out until next year, but I think I'll wait on the Princess ones for my daughter. Though I'll be buying some Mickey ones for myself...
