Pretty cool, eh? I've had the loop on WMV for about a year, and had planned to share it. But I never got around to posting it on the web anywhere. This link saved me some time. :)

I still love that format sooooo much better than the current "Top 10" or "Top 7" or whatever it is... :thumbsway

I don't think the video on the web can be converted to DVD--at least not at any significant quality. It appears to be a Macromedia Flash movie. Just zooming the video to full-screen produces a lot of video noise and compression artifacts. Even if it were possible to convert to an MPEG format for burning to a DVD, it's gonna look like hell on a TV.

I have the same video in Windows Media Video (WMV) format. I understand that WMV files can functionally be converted to MPG, but I've had limited success myself. WMV is also a compressed format, so the quality will suffer in that conversion, too.

If anyone wants the WMV files they are welcome to contact me. The clip is actually split over 5 separate files which total 20-25 MB of data.

I'd be willing to bet that the current DVC promotionatl DVD they send out is the same thing shown on the DVC channel. If not, it's pretty darn close. They've been using many of the same member testimonial clips for years.

WMV is quite easy to convert I have some pretty good software for the conversion to turn it into mpeg2 format and the quality isn't to bad considering the conversion. I would love to get my hands on it to burn to DVD do you have it hosted via FTP someplace I can grab it from?

I posted the resort TV files to an ftp site. You should be able to access them here:

ftp://ftp.krasniewski.com

There are also a couple other disney-related files in the same location.

I'll leave them up for a few days, but not forever. Too many security risks. If you want the files, get them now.

Does stink about not being able to download it though...
I had to email the link to my wife (on the laptop upstairs) and we sat and watched it right away.
Hope it stays out there for a while! :goodvibes

Do you have the old one and the new one you just posted hosted up on the FTP if so I will download them tonight when I get home from work rather than mailing you a couple DVD's. I just looked at the link I figured my company would have FTP sites blocked but they don't I see it is only the older one so I will still send you a DVD to burn the other one for me.

Hi, I missed this thread, and would love to get these files for myself. I know it is alot to ask, but can you post them again, or may I get them another way?
Thanks, Gaston

Rinkwide did you recieve that disk yet and the return envelope? I sent it out a couple weeks ago so it should be there now or soon it is only going to Cali. Let me know if you have not gotten it yet and if need be I will send a second disk just in case.
