Crocs adds Disney line

Disney characters will become part of a limited edition of Crocs Inc. shoes, just in time for the 2006 holiday season.

Niwot, Colo.-based Crocs (NASDAQ: CROX) announced Tuesday that the "Disney by Crocs" line will debut with Mickey Mouse die-cut Adult Beach and Kid's Cayman models. They'll be available in dual colors, including Mickey Mouse's signature black and red.


Other designs will include Mickey and Friends, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Disney Princess, Disney Fairies, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story and Cars.

An expanded product line is planned for spring 2007. Terms of the agreement with Burbank's Disney (NYSE: DIS) were not available.

I'm planning of getting the POTC version.

POTC what will they look like maybe Jack Sparrows boots LOL. I can't believe my beloved mouse is going to have a line of CRACKS oops I mean crocs LOL.

Does anyone know - does Disney sell disney-themed charms for the crocs? The charms were really popular at the beach, wondered if Disney had caught onto that craze too, since Crocs are so popular there...
