If the Bad Poet were able,
He’d provide us with prose,
Or maybe a limerick,
Or, oh gosh, who knows.
I’d like to fill you in,
If he does not object.
I’d like to commemorate
This wonderful project.
It all started with a mouse,
But I’d really like to share
How much that snow-balled
And where it went from there.
There was a little place
Where our little family “met”.
OK, not in person,
But through the internet.
We went there for info.
We shared a love for the mouse.
And with our new found knowledge,
We bought shares in his house.
We formed our own community,
Until it became clear,
That we still needed more,
And that’s why we came here.
I’d like to introduce you
To our founding family,
Who took a special dream
And made it reality.
Tjkraz had the dream,
That one day he could share,
His love and knowledge of DVC,
With people everywhere.
Our lovely Deep-Thots,
Came through for him it’s true,
She said I have the way,
To make that happen for you.
Now let me introduce you,
To the little group that started,
From that wonderful dream,
And into waters uncharted.
We will start with Rash the taking horse,
Whose candidacy has just begun.
And our own left coaster,
Known as Secretary of Fun.
For Mar’, you must admit,
Although she’dratherbe,
That this is the next best thing,
To the world with Sir Mickey.
Then on to cruise-o-matic,
And JimMIA , the weather man.
Jarestal’s a community guy,
And Ripleysmom’s a scoopin’ fan.
There’s our ColoradoBelle,
She has Ms. Kathleena to call.
Our own Fairy Godmother,
Will get her to the ball.
Lllovell’s here with her listening ear.
Lisa’s got that Disney spirit.
TW1’s a lot like Stitch,
So much you’ll almost fear it!
Ms. Laura who usedtobesmith,
Has a home like brand new.
There’s our musically-talented, Jnrrt.
And of course our beloved Toon, Eric, too.
There’s jumping JohnNJ,
Who’s almost as giddy as me!
Who am I, I guess I missed,
PoohsPal, former wtp.
Let’s not forget Eric,
Who gave up quite a lot
When Kim took all this on,
And rescued us on the spot.
Now I’m going to close,
With a wish from us to you,
That you will share our magic.
