Hello all!

I am very happy to be here learning lots of things from all of you. Because of this I am thinking very seriously about buying into DVC.

Hubby and I are thinking about getting a small contract through resale (well, me small, him bigger :hahahaha: ).

Let's see what happens.... I am sure that I will post a lot of questions and read even more answers.

Hi, I am not an old pro at this, but want to give you my two cents worth of advice.
Do research on how often you would want to stay at a DVC resort. Then figure out the points you would need to stay for the size room, and date and length of stay.
Once you know that, you know if you can afford it. If you can't afford it, then figure out the next option,which would be, the size of the room, the date and the length of stay and what you are willing to give up. Say, the room size, the number of days you want to stay,and the time of year.
DVC is like being on a diet, and counting calories, and how you want to use those calories. A single big dessert one night, or a bag of carrots for everyday for a week?
Big heads up warning though, DVC is like a bag of chips, bet you can't eat just one.
Once you buy in,small or large contract, you'll want more.
