What countries would you add to World Showcase?

I think DH and I have this conversation every time we go to EPCOT.

My choices are:
1. Thailand...if they add a really good Thai restaurant.
2. Greece...seems like they could do some cool theming...and the food would be incredible.
3. Carribbean countries...they could be a lot of fun...and the food would be great!

How 'bout you?

Greece, for sure! That would be my #1 vote.
Maybe something like Egypt would be great too, with like a big pyramid, like the Luxor in Vegas

Egypt would be awesome as far as themeing, it's just ripe for knocking off.
Australia since I don't see myself being able to go and they seem really cool.

I think Austrailia would be neat along with some more of the African countries. Maybe some of the Russian countries too.

Well, a pyramid would certainly fit right in to 'landmarks' theme.
India for a Taj Mahal and good curry.
Greece WOULD be fun esp . if they did an Acropolis theming.

Australia/New Zealand would be my first choice could you imagine a replica of aires rock (sp).
I would also like to see a Russian pavillion.

Cambodia to have an Angkor Wat theme
Iraq to have a Hanging Gardens of Babylon theme
India to have a Taj Mahal theme

I'd say Russia - the architecture would be wonderful.....
India for the food and the architecture!
Greece would be beautiful....
to be different..... Sweden! My ancestory at WDW - I don't think the food is all that great, though...... that or it's just my Grandma's cooking!

I'd like to see Greece, as mentioned earlier. Good food, good history, lots of culture to draw from in their theming.

Would like something in tandem to Mexico - maybe a Spain or Portugal or Brazil.

Something polynesian would be good, or as someone mentioned, Carribean islands.

Maybe they could umbrella Australia under the UK and do an "add-on", LOL, between UK and Canada...

Since they already have Norway, I doubt they would do Sweden or Denmark too, but I think the Greece idea is a great one for both themeing and food. Egypt too, but with all the African continent countries changing names and boundries all the time, that doesn't seem likely. India would be cool.

I'm thinking more of the food, I'd like to see another sitdown eatery... Lamb/mutton is not my favorite, so although Greek themeing would be nice, I'm not sure that I would look beyond the baklava (sp)..

My grandfather came from poland/ukraine (depends upon the year, where you fix the border).. and my mom used to make the most incredible dishes.. much more than borcht. A Russian pavillion with St Catherines cathedral (Red Square) would fit quite nicely in the corner where the outpost is now...

Slovak cooking is also very very good... I can imagine a Budapest theme with the Orient Express serving as a fine restaurant..

I LOVE the Greece & Egypt ideas! Could you imagine a pyramid & Greek temple added to EPCOT's skyline? Coooool! Polynesia or Tahiti would be fun too. As for Austrailia, I'm hoping that will be added to AK in the future.

India, Greece, and Egypt all sound like great themes. I'd add a vote for an island nation like Tahiti as well.
