Nothing official about the start of this thread....I just couldn't bear the word 'never' under COMMUNITY and crockpot just came naturally to mind!

Guessing that the nothing thread is idratherbeinwdw's. But maybe we should have a NOTHING forum even!!!! Heck I don't know, I'm just so goshdarn happy to be here :D :D :D :D

But what I really prefer is Hannaford flavored sparkling water - Black Cherry or Kiwi/Strawberry.

lol There is actually very little I won't drink softdrink wise.....except the stranger "combo" flavors like Mountain Dew and others have out lately.

My all time favorite is Mr. Pibb or Dr. Pepper. That said, I am trying to be a good girl and stick with water :)

LOLOL CB Docpothead bwhahaha

So llovell, do you spend hours in the Coke ice station at Epcot....satiating your need for AC AND your love of all things soda?

I don't drink carbinated drinks BUT I enjoy trying out the different flavors (except that ONE flavor...gads! IYKWIM).

ARM me
or
UNTIE me,

I feel we are about to get a new word of the weekend!

lllovell

I have only actually been in there once (we are still kinda low EPCOT users and they closed it recently for renovations) but they have one here at the World of Coke and I had a blast there. Gosh, there really is sooooo much I still need to do and explore at WDW! Amazing! (it took me 3 trips to actually FIND the thing)

It also shoots softdrinks across a big area into a cup in a different room. Pretty cool experience.

I took a friend there from Fargo when she was down last year and it was the first time I had been in there. I loved it! (so - I am not such a Coke nut that I had been on my own lol)

Colorado Belle

Well, it has been the day from hell, just like it usually is the day before a trip.

My friend who is crusing with me called yesterday....she isn't sure she is going on the cruise.

My lawyer for the appeal said FOR SURE she would have the motion needed for a preliminary to appeal step ready by today....nothing. I think I overwhelm lawyers with what I want...I hate it when they make errors that end up costing me big bucks for which they then charge me.

Case of absurd: one of my X lawyers is suiing for about $100,000. He has to appear at a hearing to verify his billings. Judges who were divorce attorneys always give the attorneys whatever they billed. So, today i picked up 14 mailing s in big envelopes from Lexis Nexis. At about $2.00 a pop postage. Each envelope had a 3 page motion inside. All 14 were about setting the hearing. First: I am callling the clerk to set a hearing. Next: Notice to all parties concerning the phone call Next: Setting a time Next: time isn't good for lawyer #2 Next: setting a time to call clerk for another date Next: time isn't good for lawyer # 3 Next: Setting a new time.
This goes on. the lawyers bill about $150 per pop to write this crap and file it.
It is such a joke.

1000 divorce lawyers at the bottom of the sea?
well, its a start.

Then I have to move a car out of my barn. It won't start. Try to hook it up to old Big Blue. Big Blue has trouble starting and then the hydrolic plow won't life so I have to play with it and finally unhinge it so I can tow the car to afirends' garage. Jeez.

Paying bills. Writing letters to X's lawyer who wants me to exchange the stuff the court ruled X gets but doen'st want to give me what little the court ruled I get. Write him a nasty letter.

Well, it's 3 :00 am and I guess I will stop with all this and go pack.
Just venting before leaving tomorrow.

I am cruising and taking a computer with me so I can finish up my legal crap. Sigh. But I am cruising none the less!

:D Dont cry for me Argentina! The truth is I never

YUCK!!! I understand what you are going through (have a sister in a similar pickle) but it was still the best thing she ever did for herself and I know you feel the same way about getting rid of the beast.

Don't mind the extra weight in this piece of luggage. Or the way it goes "oof" when it tips over *whistling innocently*. :D Sometimes we all need a break and I am about at that "take it any way you can get it" point!

Have a wonderful trip CB! You deserve it!

Oh man - now I want WAFFLES!!! *grin*

How was everyone else's weekend? Here I had to fight the worst traffic into work (so much for it saving us gas today by canceling school ppfftttt) but at least I got to listen to people grilling the Gov. on the way in. It was like good, free therapy :p

Anyone want 1/2 my bagel? When did bagels get to be the size of tires???

P.S.

Decided to bring back the Crockpot thread from page 2. Hope you'all don't mind as my vacation certainly curbed my posting and I feel the need to catch up.

It also gives me another chance to yell KUMQUAT for no apparent reason, without fear that some CROCKPOT won't ban me again!!!!!!

As for my bad poeting, I am thinking of another. Would you agree that kumquat and diddilysquat belong in the same rhyming universe?

Hi all.

There's snow on the ground, left over from the 2 feet we got while I was cruising. Honest to God, the kids who were housesitting LUGED down the pasture.

So while I sit here waiting for my kumquats to be slow cooked to perfection in my crockpot, I am thinking about nothing.

speaking of crockpots, I was wondering if any of you noticed the link to the docdwarf's real photo from over on the Voldemort board? (MY BAD, but it just had to be said...I'll behave now!)

I sent off as much info as I could to new lawyer for the appeal's part of my legal woes. She had to file yesterday. I stayed up all night. This morning I cleaned the carpet in the apt. I am renting out to a labrador dog and his human. So now I deserve to be a little bad.

Tonight I 'm going to the Coroner's Ball. You must dress as someone famous who is dead OR someone you wish was dead. (that's what I heard)
They shouldn't say that to a creative gal who was screwed by the legal system in her divorce..really you shouldn't.

I was going to dress as a judge IYKWIM. but then I thought I'd be asking for trouble. So I 'm instead going dressed as 'blind justice', letting a few people in on what I really mean re a certain judge, and letting the scales fall where they may!

Colorado Belle
10-24-2005, 06:05 PM
Darn...I get to the Coroner's ball, all decked out in my Blind Justice garb...and I get some puzzled looks. THIS YEAR, you are supposed to come as someone you'd like to be dead, instead of someone famous who IS dead. Well, tip my scales and call me fathead.
