I don't really think that anyone will get this, but I thought it was a really cool Hidden Mickey that you might enjoy seeing, although son says it does not qualify as a Hidden Mickey. At any rate, if anyone wants to guess, have at it, if no guesses I will spill the beans after lunch. I will at least narrow it down for you some and say that it is in t he MK.

no, out where anyone could see.
looks like a counter service, food court area...I'm guessing the CS place along the bridge to Tomorrow Land from Main Street, (sorry, names escaping me.)

In the little yellow-green colored strip that runs through Liberty Square?

not there either, Kristi. I am gonna give this a little longer until I reveal. It appears from the no. of hits on this thread that there are a lot of lookers and no guessers.
I am disappointed no one has ooooh'd and aaaaaah'd over this one that I found myself. :sosad:
Be sure that I'm oooh-ing and aaah-ing at how observant you are. Except for the sand sculpture at BC/YC, I'm very impressed with your ability to find these little bits of magic at our happy place.
Don't reveal too soon! I'm still thinking (can't you smell the smoke?)
Many many thanks for this fun summer-time diversion.

Guess I need to spend more time walking with my head down.
Possibly at the Dinosaur attraction in AK ?

Well, I think THE first thread on MO disappeared long ago. However, I did go back & read the OP to this thread & I see where you stated it was in the MK.
In my defense, I didn't read your OP because the pic you posted is so large I'd need to scroll side-to-side in order to read your text. While Vikings enjoy exerting energy for P & P, by our very nature we are too lazy to scroll side-to-side.
It's a DNA thing.

Would it be somewhere near Cosmic Ray's ?

The whole picture shows up on my computer without having to scroll. Sorry to cause you inconvenience. :Pokepoke:
And you knew what I meant by first thread :Pokepoke:
Good guess, but not near Cosmic Ray's.

Wow! I dunno. I'm gonna say Tomorrowland Terrace?
(But what is with those shell pieces in the floor? It has to be inside somewhere or in a covered area given the gloss on it...)
EDIT - I'm rethinking this cause I think the floor in Tomorrowland Terrace is kinda like speckled concrete. Is it Crystal Palace?

O.K. I really hadn't meant for this one to go on this long, but we had an emergency come up with the dog and we spent most of the evening at the vet last night and most of the day today at the N.C. State Vet School. So, I have been away from the computer and am just now able to get back to this.
So, where in the world is the Hidden Mickey? It is in the floor of the Crystal Palace. If you walk into the restaurant and face the buffet, it is located between the right hand side of the buffet and the center buffet that holds the desserts. It basically is in the middle of those two parts of the buffet.
I have only eaten there twice and spotted it the first time. I didn't know about it and wasn't looking for it, just watching my step and looked down and there it was.

Shannon, the shells in the floor are typical in Florida, there are called terazzo (sp) and they are a really cool flooring, cool in temperature, not as in really sharp looking. When I grew up Fl., that is what was throughout our whole house.
And way to go on the narrowing it down to the Crystal Palace.

At this point the diagnosis is she had a stroke (right in front of me). She is some better today and if she continues to make progress, then we will leave it at that. Further diagnosis would require an MRI (big bucks) and she is almost 17, so we are probably not going in that direction. We don't want her to suffer or go thru anything unnecessary to prolong her life another 6-12 months.
Thanks for asking Shannon, the last couple of days have been really tough, with a lot of tears shed and heartbreaking moments.

Oh, no! I hope your doggie feels better and really soon. Our Brittany had a stroke a couple years back and she is doing fine, although old. What breed is she?

So sorry to hear about your dog. I know how you feel. About 4 months ago I had to take my dog to the University of Pennsylvania Vet Hospital. She had an operation because they thought that she had a liver shunt. Well, she had more that just one so the problem could not be corrected with the surgery. But, she was able to be treated with medication that she will have to take for the rest of her life and a special diet. Happy to say that she is doing well. Her second birthday was while she was in the hospital. How strange is to go and visit your dog in the hospital!!!

Oh - I'm so sorry about your puppy! After 17 years - well - I'm sure it's hard to imagine life without them. Our lab is only 8, but after his snake bite last fall - he's aged considerably. All grey and tired. It's so hard to see him get old! I hope everything turns out ok.
BTW - cool mickey!

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Considering we were expecting the vet school to say it was probably a tumor on her brain, we feel pretty good about everything right now. She was walking some better last night and they said that dogs do recover from strokes quite well, so we are very optimistic right now.
KoKo is a Lhasa Apso and just the sweetest thing. We got her one Christmas when she was the last doggie left in the store the day after Christmas. It was literally a true "How much is that doggie in the window" scenario. When we got her she was solid brown and with each grooming she turned colors. Her papers said she was "grizzle" and we didn't know what that meant, but she very quickly turned from brown to a silvery gray. She is a true Disney dog with a Mickey collar and a Mickey and Pluto blanket with her name embroidered on it.
:dog: and I both appreciate your good thoughts.
