Fullers is THE BEST CarWash/Detail place EVER!! LOL
I just had them detail my van... and it looks new~!!! I will admit it was skanky, the carpet was gross with 5 years worth of salty winters, muddy summers and other icky spillages... lol... The leather seats were screaming for some attention.....
But now... now it is like new! They got off all the stickers on the girls windows (which they took quite well considering that collection had been years in the making... stickers from the Doctor visits, dentists etc) They buffed out the art work DD6 made with the rock on the side and rear of the van... lol
Did I mention it looks NEW!
DH and I decided the kids will be placed inside giant plastic bags and then buckled in.....
Off to take them to school..... where did I put those lawn n leaf bags...

Now if I could just stop scraping the side of our grand caravan against our mailbox, I'd take it to fullers and have it detailed! We have so many scrapes to fix. :hammer:

Laura - DO I have to point out the dangers of placing your children inplastic bbags? Pleas e read those warning labels before performing such actions. :hammer: (Maybe I should drive to Chicagoland. My car could use a rehab!)

We would leave their heads out... just the rest of them tucked away, and we wont tie them that tight, it's a short ride to school, they should manage. Good indurance training for later in life.
I am sure any carwash detailing place would work to spruce up a car. The scent they used isnt all that bad either... lemon pledgey. clean carpets, clean winodws, clean seats, clean doors, clean mirrors, clean glove boxes, clean... clean.... clean. I am still amazed.
Plastic bags are the least we can do for the shiney van...

Oh my. Maybe I should find one here. Have I mentioned that my dd decided that it was a great idea to write with orange crayon all over her window and the arm rest in the back seat of the van? And that it wasn't noticed for quite some time since it was in the back seat which gave it a good long while to bake in. And this is the "responsible" daughter. Oh well.
We got most of it off the armrest, but it's surprisingly hard to get it off the glass.
And because my brain works like this (don't ask), stain solving leading to stain solving, did you know that you can use a regular pencil eraser to get permanent marker off wood? My daughter wrote with the only sharpie we own (how did she get it, I ask you? And why would she do this when she's never dreamt of doing it with a washable?) all over my new dining table, and I panicked, looked it up on the internet, and they said to erase it. Right, I thought, but it actually worked. Maybe it wouldn't have so well if it'd sat longer, but anyway, shocking.

Very good save there, jnrrt!
By the way, how much does a great detailing like that cost?

The detailing was $239 but I had a $20.oo off coupon. Which we used to offset the tips....
Well worth it. I mean it. It was a gross van and now it is a lovely van. I think once every 6 months I am getting it done. Well... maybe once a year.

just dont have them change your oil, they put my oil filter on crooked and my van started leaking oil. I brought my van back and they checked it out and said it was fine. I had to take my van to the dealer, thank goodeness my dealer service dept. really likes me, they fixed the oil filter and told me that fullers uses cheap oil filters. Never again. :hammer:
