If you are really into the background music, etc. from the Parks, you might want to check out this thread I found today on "that other" board. I have been downloading music for the past two hours and am thrilled with the stuff she has posted. Hope it is o.k. to post the link here. If not, I am sure someone will crack my knuckles with a ruler.

My personal favorite is the qeue music from Peter Pan and the monorail loops. Enjoy

I have never bought music off of or downloaded music from the internet, so I was thrilled to find these in one spot. Most of you guys are probably so far ahead of me on this kind of thing.

If anyone has more of this kind of thing they want to share, I am interested.

I have over 100 Disney World mp3s. Usually I listen when I am at my computer, but I've burned a few CD's for my car as well. Manyof the mp3s are full ride attractions, but I also have a good selection of monorail annoucements, parades, special shows, backround music in the parks, opening and closing announcements, WDW railroad, sound bites from various areas in WDW and even some fun techno mixes. They really are too numerous to list, but if anyone is looking for something particular, or just wants me to send you some of my favorites PM me with your email and I'll be happy to share. :beaniepro :howudoin:

Can you download from there or just listen? I used to listen to SubSonic, but you can only listen and I prefer to listen to what I want to when I want to and on SubSonic some folks would request whole attractions that would just take forever (so it seemed) to get thru. I prefer shorter timeframes of music.

Anything in particular you're looking for rwe? I can send you a bunch of mp3's I think you'll enjoy, but if you have special requests, specific or general, I'll be happy to send you them.

Same offer to anyone else, I'm happy to share. :yo-yo:

I have no special requests, nothing in particular that I am looking for. I just love listening to any and all of the background music and announcements. I saw your first offer but knew that my request would be too general, and I didn't want to be a pain. I listen to Disney music on a daily basis here at work and find that the background music is just enough to not distract me to want to sing along (which would distract everyone else in the building.

OK, please help me out here fellow MO-ers.

I'm having brain freeze on the Aerosmith song played while on RnR. Which song is it?

Oh, and thanks for this link, I've had the Main Street loop playing in the background all morning.

When I get out of your bathroom I'll probably think of the song title.

OK Answered my own question...when in doubt its Wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_'n'_Roller_Coaster

What I did not know is there are five soundtracks depending on which car you are on. That's pretty cool.

You can download the soundtracks on this Wikipedia site as well.

For a virtually unlimited supply for theme park media, try:

http://www.dc-torrents.com/index.php

(You need to register and log-in to see the meat & potatoes of the site. You also need a Torrent client. I use uTorrent. Took me about 5 minutes to figure it out. :D )

<sigh>

Saw this thread about 7pm tonight. It's now 9:32. I've been very busy. :rockband: But I have lots of great entertainment. I've already listened to Soarin' about 10 times.

I had seen their music threads a few weeks ago, but they have really expanded them.

Thanks for the update!
