I've taken both and it really depends on what you're interested in.

Keys to the Kingdom only covers the Magic Kingdom. We got to ride Jungle Cruise and the Haunted Mansion. We went down into the Utilidors and backstage to see the parade floats.

Backstage Magic covers Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and the Magic Kingdom. We went down below American Adventure and got the see the mechanics that work the attraction. We also had an opportunity to see Mark Twain without his hair and jacket, as he was being worked on at the time. We also went backstage to visit one of the cast member areas. In the Magic Kingdom we got to go down into the Utilidors.

How much time do you want to spend, do you want a overview of three parks or just one, and how much can you afford for the tour?

Backstage Magic will take you to more backstage areas, if that's what you're interested in.

I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour and loved it. It included lunch at Columbia House. There was some discount (either AP, DVC or Disney Visa) that made it rather affordable. It was long and it rained the whole time. I'd do it again in a few years.

But now, after ghost's review, I'm really interested in the magic tour....and my friend just booked us on a ride in the Breathless in Sept!!!!

I've also done the Segway and the Dive tour. So far, I'd recommend them all!:jumpingbe

If you get a good castmember they're all good tours. If you get a slug like I got it becomes hours of living hell. I received a refund because so many people from my group complained about our guide.

That said, I would take another tour in a minute. They're great fun for WDW veterans.

DW and I did the KTTK tour this past May. We really enjoyed it. Even with the constant rain that day we had a blast. Our guide was Claire and she was fabulous.

KTTK is a great tour but you won't go wrong with either.

That's true. We did the Holiday Fantasy a couple years ago. We had two tour guides, so we were split into two groups. Our tour guide was getting over a cold and she just wasn't enthusiastic at all. The other group seemed to be having a lot more fun than we did.

The Backstage Magic tour takes you to the holiday warehouse. When we did the Holiday Fantasy, the warehouse was empty. It was a lot of fun seeing the warehouse full of all the holiday decorations.

We're signed up for UnDISCOVERed Futureworld in December. Another tour I'm interested in is Animal Kingdom's Wild by Design. I've read a lot of good reviews about that one.

We want to do the Segway tour, but we're waiting until some friends can do it with us. We almost did it together a few years ago, but they had to shorten their trip and we didn't get around to it.

We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour and loved it! Our tour guide was Brick. He was a great guide. I've also met Claire (she drove me to the emergency room one time) very nice lady!

Veteran of KTTK, Segway, UnDiscovered Future World, Hidden Treasures of Epcot, Garden Tour of Epcot during Flower and Garden, Backstage Safari, and Holiday Fantasy. All were good -- garden tour best for serious gardeners, and our dud tour guide was at AK. The group was large and she just wasn't animated. My favorites are probably KTTK, and Undiscovered Future World due to great tour guides, Rae at MK and Robert in Epcot. DH's fav was Segway. I'm doing Backstage Safari again in January with DD23 and hope it's better. She'll love it though, she's an Animal Planet junkie!

Definitely Back Stage Magic tour! You see and do MUCH more than on the Keys to the Kingdom tour. You actually do things in 3 parks instead of 1 plus central services. We have done the BSMT 3 times, and each time it was different, but parts of it were the same.
