True Newbie Here!!

New to the site and really excited. DH and I have 3 children 2 DS - age 6 and 1 DD age 4. I haven't been to Disney since 1991. (I know - unbelievable). I've been reading guide books web sites non stop for the past 3 days. We're planning to go next April. Haven't told the children yet. I feel obsessed.

We are going to rent points and wonder how to work out a week's stay: Sun - Thurs. then Fri. and Sat. I know how many points we'll need but not sure if we have to pack again and recheck in. Very confused confused about it. Does anyone have any input on that?

As for the week, if you're renting points to cover the entire week, you just book it - no rechecking or repacking, you just have it for the week. The points needed to get a Friday and Saturday night are higher, but it's all the same reservation, so no worries.
