I am so excited!
Did you all get your November DVC e-mail newsletter?
Well, I did and there is going to be a Merry Mixer!
It will be at the International Gateway in Epcot Thursdays in Dec from 3pm-5pm.
This is great news for me!
Last year they had them on Tuesdays, I wasn't a member yet. I was hoping the weren't going to have them on Tuesdays this year cause I'd miss it. So low and behold-Thursdays!
This works perfect for me, on Thurs 12/1, my best friend and I are taking the World Showcase tour at 9am, then we have ADR's in Morocco at 1pm, and when we finish lunch, we'll head over to the Merry Mixer!
Anyone else going to go that day? I'd love to meet you! :)

Hooray, I will be there 12/1 as well. It works out really good. Now I can go to the condo meeting at the Y/BC convention center then walk right over to the merry mixer.

However, I have have NO idea how to walk from Y/BC to the International gateway.

And can anyone tell me if I will need park admission? I assume not but want to make sure. Our AP's expire on the 29th.

the 29th is the last day and the first day we arrive, Thank goodness we will be flying in early and staying at the BCV. I missed it last year because of the weather, i would like to attend this year :fingerscr

cobbler you can just walk around the "lake" a very short walk or take a boat ride to the BWV and walk heading towards ESPN. no need for a park ticket, it sounds like it will be on the outside of the gateway of epcot.

Ok so basically I walk past ESPN and follow the walkway and I should be there? Sorry to sound so retarded just have never done it or stayed in that area before.

I will be there with bells on. Not literally but I am very excited. New DVC owner and all the wonderful things happening on my first trip home. Can't get any better than that :) :) :)

If you are staying at Y&B, don't walk all the way around the boardwalk and go past ESPN. From Y&B, just walk out towards the sandy beach and turn left at the main walkway. Take it up & over the hump & walk towards Epcot. The International Gateway is that large open area before the turnstiles.

Anybody else going to be there on the 8th ?

I am going to be there for the Dec 22 merry mixer! Now that we know there will be one, I am sure we will try to attend :rockband:

WE did these last year, and it was a lot of fun. Made more so by all the DVC members I already knew on-line!
