A couple bits of information have been popping-up on the 'net that might be of interest to folks. First, sources indicate that the Wonders of Life pavilion will be open during the 2005 Holiday season. Exact dates are unknown, and very possibly limited to the period roughly 12/24 to 12/31.
To the best of my knowledge, this will be the first opening of WoL since the spring of 2004.
Another item, which may be properly suited for the rumors board, is that a new sponsorship agreement has been reached for Spaceship Earth. Multiple sites are reporting that a deal has been reached, and the name heard most frequently as new sponsor is Siemens. Reports go on to say that the corporate lounge is already being prepared for its new tenant.
Here's hoping we'll soon have something better to look at in the SE exit lobby than those empty stalls and blank walls.

Yes -- I can !! :earboy:
;)
If I were going to put money on it, I'd say it's true :footopenm
And another Epcot news bit, is that new idiot guards....er,....decorative safety guards have been installed to prevent people from sitting on the lamp pillars & railings along the bridge near International Gateway (mostly during illuminations). I know there have been a couple very close calls of parents letting their children sit on the lamp pillars and nearly tumbling over in the past.

I noticed those going up when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I swear, people are stupid. :hammer:

It has now been made public that Siemens is the new sponsor for Spaceship Earth, in a 12 year, 100 Million dollar deal.

Wow that is some pretty big money I wonder if my friends that work at Seimens in London will get any Disney items as employees of the place. None of them like Disney so if they do I know who will be getting the stuff.

If nothing else, they will probably have access to the private corporate lounge within the pavilion. There is a lounge in upper levels of the Test Track building for GM employees, and I'm sure other pavilions have them as well.

Now that would be nice indeed.

Well here's hoping they keep WOL open a bit past 12/31! We arrive 21/31, and I was hoping to go later in the week. I miss Cranium Command! I think that is one of the best attractions at Epcot!

Sorry, when my dh went with his family, you had to pick up a pass from teh plant. Heard it was very cool, though. FIL is Delphi now, though, so no more lounge time.
