My wife and I have changed the date of our 10th Anniversary trip. Our anniversary is in August and we were going to go in September. However, my DW said that she would like to go back again in May sometime. She is quite the gardener and really loved the F&G show back in '04. So today I changed our ressies and was able to get a studio at the BCV for the second week in May. :bluebloun

With the new 180 day ADR window I need to make some decisions on where to eat. With that in mind, what do you think are the most romantic places to dine? My DW would never go for dropping the big bucks for V&A so that is out.

These come to mind,

Pricey, but worth it - Bistro de Paris

Less pricey - San Angels Inn (ask for and wait for table by the river)

- Rose & crown (request patio, have anniversary noted on ressie)

-Artist's Point (or for budget purposes, the Territory Lounge)

Of course, Yachtsman's Steakhouse or Jiko would be nice too!

If 'food' is viewed as an accent to the celebration, why not go thru the bakery in France, get some nice french bread, brie, fruit take them outside, grab a couple of glasses of champagne from the booth out front, and find a quiet corner of the pavillion towards the cannal leading to the boardwalk and enjoy! :)

Wow, you guys ARE good!

There is nothing like being treated out to a very nice romatic dinner but then again there is something to say (from a female point of view) to good old fashioned room service :slyasafox!

California Grill is supposed to be very good too.

Narcoosses at the GF love the view of the castle, water and if you plan it right you can watch the fireworks and the water parade.

Can't help with dining, but this past August we were celebrating our 15th while in the World. I secretly booked an Illuminations cruise and surprised DW. She loved it, thought it was very special. They can even arrange food on the boat, or a cake, champagne, etc.

Great thread! Let us know what you decide!

There are lots of nice locations - our top five would be: (and some have been mentioned) - these are not in order:

Jiko's at AKL especially later in the evening as the kids are not as prevelent (this may be good advice for many of the locations)

Bistro de Paris - Epcot (France) - very quiet and excellent service and nice decor

Citrico's at GF - we like the menu, cuisine and atmosphere

Artists Point - quiet sophistication

San Angel Inn (as noted by another near the river)

Enjoy!

Those sound great. What about Alfedos over at Epcot? How is it in the romance department? We went on our honeymoon, but havent' been back since.

I would say it's a good choice. Some may be (rightfully) concern however, that if the place is packed, due to the comparative closeness of tables, it might be a bit cramped. But it's a beautiful place for sure! :)
