The tentative schedule of Eat to the Beat concerts to be performed during the 11th annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, September 29-November 12, has been released. The scheduled entertainers, who will perform daily at 5:45, 7 and 8:15 p.m. at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase, are:

-- September 29-30 - Survivor
-- October 1-3 - FamilyStoneExperience
-- October 4-7 - Starship featuring Mickey Thomas
-- October 8-11 - Loverboy
-- October 12-14 - David Sanborn
-- October 15-16 - The Beach Boys
-- October 17-18 - Little Richard
-- October 19-21 - Three Dog Night
-- October 22-25 - The Four Tops
-- October 26-28 - Gloria Gaynor
-- October 29-November 1 - The S.O.S. Band
-- November 2-4 - The Contours
-- November 5-6 - Chubby Checker & The Wildcats
-- November 7-8 - Southside Johnny
-- November 9-12 - Jon Secada

Woohoo, if we get to do the POS, then it's VIP seating for the Beach Boys for us. That just couldn't be any more perfect for me.

Just wanted to point out that the current version of the beach boys has only one of the original members, Mike Love. I'm sure they are still fun though.

Saw the Beach Boys just last summer. They are still fun, no matter who is still alive n' kickin. I'll be at a conference 11/12. Thought John Secada fell off the face of the earth. He is sooo romantic.:reporter:

Saw the Beach Boys at our local Woodstock Fair last Labor Day Weekend. The sound was classic and Mike Love was terrific about making sure as many people as possible could see the band. Besides, I'm not sure too many seniors can hit those falsetto notes anymore. It'll be fine. DH and I will be there on October 14!
