DL or WDW for Thanksgiving? Help me choose!

Here's the background:

1) I work in the US but as a German/Canadian don't celebrate the US holiday
2) looks like I will be off 11/23-27 or 28
3) lots and lots of airline miles to burn; flight are available and can be booked for either Orlando or Los Angeles at this point
4) I have good backup hotels booked at DL and WDW at very low cost
5) it would be a solo trip, most likely - if DL, a local friend would join me for a day

So.... what would you do? I'm leaning towards WDW because

1) my Dec trip probably won't happen, and I am looking forward to a decorations tour
2) there is more non-park activity at WDW if it's super crowded
3) better dining at WDW
4) the waitlist fairy may come through again and I may be able to get a night or so on points
5) I have a current AP for WDW; would need to buy an DL AP using the DVC discount

Any thoughts/ideas??

I'd go with WDW, because I think DL for 4-5 days seems a little much for me. JMO.

It sounds like you really have yourself aready talked into WDW and toatlly argree, the decorations are great, its still warm, you have an AP and there is more to do if you dont go to the parks.

We get a discount on AP for DL ? do you have the info

I agree with Star....
the parks WILL be crowded, at least through Saturday if not Sunday, so it is better to have other things to do. Your pass allows use to go to all the parks (with the idea that if one is packed another might be slow), the decorations can't be beat, you can take a tour, eat in lots of places you haven't tried before, and relax by the pool if the weather cooperates....
a no brainer in my mind.

I would go WDW too. There is way more to do there then DL.

Thanks for the answers - things always seem to change for me, so here's an update!!!

I am 99% sure to be going to So California for week the first week of December... that means adding a few more days to visit DL!!!!

AND some projects for December delayed, so I was able to reschedule my WDW trip for about the 4th time. Now it looks like I'll be there around the 17th for 5 days or so.

AND I am working on one of my best friends to come with me - we have always planned to take her 4 yo ever since she was born, and the time may be right.

so.... if things work out, I'll have two Disney trips in December!! This has been a crazy year for visiting WDW - I'll have been in January, April, July, August, October and December........
