Getting that new purple book

Ok, is there a way you can request info online and get that new big purple book? I know on the disneyvacationclub.com site it says free video, but do they send you any other info besides that?

Hmmm. I'd like to know that too. I love anything DVC that I can read!

I got the purple book, but I also was not yet an owner - simply an interested party who wasn't able to take the time with her family to go on the tour when we were at WDW last month. It was fedexed to me when I called to request more information.

I ended up buying at BWV on Friday from them, so it was a good investment on their part.

The book is beautiful - coffee table material. :D

What does the purple book have in it other then just a flyer for you to buy.Do they still give resort framed art and the back pack? I have 3 of each

It is a sales tool, so it is full of glossy pictures of all the various resorts, including room layouts for each resort. Also included are point charts. The sales flyer is/was separate - this is a glossy coffee table type book, no prices included.

I just bought on Friday of last week, so I don't know what they will send with my contract papers. The book was part of the sales pitch, not the closing.

I got the book simply by calling and requesting info about the DVC. It is very nice...much better than I figured it would be. it is almost like a yearbook.
Just request info, use a fake name if you need:grouchodi

Thanks I might have to try that. I already told my mom that I would be requesting info in her name so I can get the new purple book :)
