Delta Skymiles question

Is it possible to purchase miles if you are short having enough miles for a reward? If so, what would 3,000 miles cost you. I think I heave heard of this being done with some sirlines, but not sure if Delta was the one.

Delta definately does it but I'm not sure of the cost. They do have a section on their website that will give you prices and info.

You can purchase up to 30,000 miles in one year. Miles must be purchased in 500 mile increments. I believe 500 miles will cost you $39.78. I don't know if there's a discount for larger purchases, or if it's $39.78 for every 500 miles.
