Time to start talking about MVMCP. I just bought my tickets today. I called today and got the AP discount for December 14th. I asked to be transferred to dining to make a reservation at the Crystal Palace for the same night. I learned the Crystal Palace isn't part of MVMCP, so the latest reservation I could get there was 4:00. So instead I got 5:30 at LTT.

Who else has plans for MVMCP this year?

We're going on either December 7 or December 8! It depends on our BWV waitlist.

Please forgive me for the question I am about to ask....remember, I just joined this board AND DVC... :dunce:

What is MVMCP?

We're all about acronyms here.....
It's for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!

We're going - but haven't determined the date yet. I'm waiting for the park hours to come out - want to arrange our schedule around the other parks' EMH's.
We'll be there from the 3rd - 8th !

It still sometimes takes me a moment or two to figure out what someone is talking about, especially when the acronym also is one I use at work (real estate industry is full of them as well).

We're going on 11/28, but the people we're going with can't give me a full commitment they'll be there that night, or where they want to eat! I've thought about LTT at 5:15 or 5:30, but I think Pecos Bill also has its appeal since I think you can experience some of the frontierland attractions while waiting.

At the rates our friends aren't making decisions, I'm liable to say, "OK, here's your Swanson's TV dinner and a room in the All Stars for the night." :goodnevil

I'm going to MVMCP for the first time ever on Dec 1st:woohoo:
No DVC or AP discounts for me because it's a Friday night, but my trip is so short that my choices were limited.
I'm thinking of avoiding the crush of in-park dining and booking dinner at one of the monorail resorts. Anyone do this? Did it work out well?

Hey Rita! My sister and I will be attending MVMCP the 14th, too! We'll definitely have to look out for each other. We have ressies at LTT for 4:30. Can't wait as this will be my sis's first time, though I've attended many times and each time just love it!

We just bought our tickets for December 19. This will be our second time attending the party. We had so much fun last time (in 2002) I just hope the weather is much warmer this year. In 2002 temps were in the lower 40's. Needless to say we drank ALOT of hot cocoa!
