Thanksgiving airfare!

Wow, is it expensive! We just booked airfare today and it was really high. And the cheapest fare on 2 itineraries we looked at (we tried a lot of different routes, airlines, etc.) got sold out before we bought them. I guess what they say is true-Thanksgiving is the busiest travel period of the year. Book early!

I know, it's so crazy. It was $350+ last time I looked, to get to my parents in Jacksonville, FL from DC for Thanksgiving. So I got my ticket with miles, and I'm leaving my husband at home!

A few years back we were supposed to go on a 7-night Disney Cruise for Thanksgiving. We actually had to cancel because airfare was way too high. :crymeariv
