Ok, so new rules sez 180 days for dining ressies... is that 180 from your FIRST day of trip, LAST day of trip, or EACH day of dining?

(Somebody stop this crazy ride and quit changing the rules, LOL!)

180 days from the day you check in and can make reservations for the duration of your stay. It will be like the 90+10 only now it will be 180+10

ARGH!!! I can see being spontaneous is going to be just about impossible anymore! Guess I better plan on doing more in the unit cooking!

Found out this am that HOB and Raglan Road are not participating in the 180 plus 10. I will be able to book both of these when it is exactly 180 days out for each.

That explains why I had trouble with 'em... hubby no like da blues, and doesn't drink beer. So the names alone kinda exclude them from our vacation planning for more "DH-friendly" places, haha.

(Actually, they BOTH work for me, though...I've been to HOB but not the pub. May have to ditch him at the villa and give it a whirl! How's the kibble there?)

House of blues has this most yummy dish called Voodoo Shrimp with cornbread. It is soooo good! Cant wait till Nov. to get back there! Alot of the entrees are with a Cajun kick to it but there "regular" items too. Like burgers (the Elwood is pretty good), pizza ect...to Filet Mignon. They have a kids menu there that is pretty basic as well. HOB is one of our must do's. It's actually one of my ds's(6) favorites. I think I have some pics will try to post later-

I should note that my trip to HOB was an unusual one. I was in Orlando for a conference and was invited (through a company I work closely with) to attend their private party there. They had a HUGE spread with most all the faves (including that voodoo stuff you showed!) plus also some awesome bread pudding if I recall correctly. I will say the one thing we did NOT have due to the nature of that visit was the entertainment piece that would accompany a "normal" trip to the house of blues. We sat around in that theater-seating style place while these lights danced around on the show floor below, spelling out this company's name. It became almost funny, because we kept waiting, thinking SOMETHING would happen, someone would suddenly come out there and sing, or at least SAY something! But nope. Instead, they opened up the floor for dancing. Lemme tell ya, you ain't seen pathetic 'til you see a bunch of rhythymless science geeks try to cut a rug.

I still have nightmares.... :scary:

Yes, yes, more, more :) That voodoo shrimp looked great, bet my hubby would love it too!!

Gopherit, you set the stage very well. I had a great visual of all the science geeks trying to dance. :beaniepro Course, I probably would have avoided getting up to even try :faint:

Hey, my momma didn't raise no fool... and certainly not a dancing in public fool. (Anything you heard to the contrary was from my college days, and I reserve the right to deny it all...)

No, my colleagues and I did the very mature, professional thing... we grabbed some drinks, sat up high, and heckled all those dancing down below.
