Number of posts....

I hope it is not that I'm losing my mind or anything, but earlier today I noticed that I had made it over 500 posts because my avatar change to a 2 bedroom. But now it is down to 3XX and a 1BR.

Not that I care about the numbers, but why did this change and drop back like that?

Hi --

Sorry about that. Earlier today, I made some changes to, and deleted threads from, the Welcome Forum. It has not been terribly active lately (only 3 or 4 replies to each thread), and it seemed best to discontinue the automated welcome threads. Because I didn't want any new members feeling *unwelcome* by the lack of a personal welcome thread for them, I deleted *all* of the welcome threads. This may have resulted in some changes to people's post counts (since deleted posts don't count toward the post count). Sorry about the lack of notice. :(

I liked the automated welcome threads. I didn't post a welcome in them. But it was nice to see each new member welcomed. Felt like someone actually cared that they were here.

The problem is if we don't get enough replies, they looked kind of unwelcoming. I loved them too and tried to keep up, and I know others did too, but lately it's been hard to do. If we don't have enough people that keep up with them, it looks kind of pitiful.

On the bright side, it's so hard to keep up because we keep getting so many new members!!!! :cheerlead
