Waiting for ROFR...and Thinking about Add-on already!

Hi All,

We are currently waiting for Disney to pass on our first DVC contract. 100pts at Saratoga :)

However, I find my self wanting to do an add-on within the next 6 months or so lol. Can anyone give me a 'ball-park' of what I can expect to pay to do an OKW add-on? Thanks in advance!

Current price is a flat $95 per point for all resorts other than SSR. No promotional discounts are offered.

And I'm sure you know that there is also a resale market out there for OKW.
Those points cost @$71-78 plus closing costs ($250-$450). Some of those contracts have 2005 points, some have 2006 points and some don't have any points until 2007.

And remember that whether you buy through Disney or on the resale market, OKW has 12 years less than SSR.

That's so funny! We haven't closed yet on our 170 pt SSR purchase through Disney, but I'm also thinking about an OKW add on. I know I'm going to want to take brother and sister and their families to Disney with us and it would be great to have 11 month window on a grand villa. DH says he would like for us to make at least one trip before we do an add on. At least he didn't say "no way".

All too funny! I am also already thinking add on and we passed ROFR, but haven't closed yet! Hubby was kind of dragging his heals, but is slowly getting bitten by the bug. Little prodding :Pokepoke: by me has him talking about a trip just "us" next year , but then I have also been sliding the yes 2 trips next year us and then us and the kids

Then, we started joking today..he is a trucker and one program his company offers is 1 week out and 1 week home. he said "i could just meet you in Disney every other week!"
I told him he could tell his job he is goingt to work 6 months straight and then take 6 months off for Disney..all on points of course! :woohoodan

You can offer what you want but just make sure it will pass ROFR. We just bought a 230 point OKW contract for $77 per point with 230 points for 2004, 2005 and 2006 points. Keep an eye on the resale boards. There are some good deals if you are lucky and move quick. Kristie at the Timeshare Store has been great on our last four resales.
