Hey, all.

One of the things that I would like to include in the website are reviews / recaps of the member exclusive events that have been held in recent years. Here are the noteworthy events that I recall:

2003 Cruise
2004 Member Homecoming
2004 Holiday Gatherings
2005 Spring Training
2005 Summer PI Gatherings
2005 Cruise
Others?

(Sorry, too lazy to look up exact names of all of them.)

We attended one of the holiday get-togethers last winter, but that's the only one of which I have any first-hand knowledge. If anyone here is interested in writing about one of these events for the website, your comments would be most welcome. It can be as little as 3-4 paragraphs, or as long as you wish to make it. Ideally, I'm looking for a summary of the event (where / when / how much / freebies / etc.) and any personal comments you wish to share about the event. Photos would be WONDERFUL.

Are you looking for one revue rather than threads about everyone's experience?

I'd rather have something in an article-style format that can be posted on the website. I would envision something that is heavy on the informational end, with a few comments and observations thrown in where appropriate.

I don't mean to see it eliminate the need for any discussion on the message boards, rather to supplement the discussion. If a potential or new member shows up and asks "does DVC do anything special for its members", this page could be easily linked to illustrate the types of events hosted in the past.
