They have discontinued the bourbon strip steak...... :crymeariv
Also, they have dropped the spinach salad that came with pecans (or was it walnuts) and magtag blue cheese! :crymeariv :crymeariv

I was awaiting the first review!!! Please do let us know if you see other menu changes, if you can... I was disappointed with Spoodles breakfast - the french toast no longer has bananas and nuts, just french toast.
But how was dinner?????

In a word--quick! :D...But in fairness, that was due to our expressed request. I've been on the road and in the air since 6:30 AM...and I now "officially" *HATE* Delta....they totally screwed up my reservations, what was to be one stop, first class both legs ending up be those stupid little puddle jumper and 5 plane changes at 5 airports (I had to get here tonight) - anyways....
I had the shrimp cocktail - excellent as always
The Yachtsman Filet Mignon which was done perfectly, with a side of sauted mushroom caps, and a side of sauted blue lake beans with bacon.
A bottle of Diane's Silverado Cab helped to wash it all down ;)
We were seated within 10 minutes, and skipped dessert. The traditional sourdough and onion rolls were served with butter and some wonderful roasted garlic gloves ( Yummmmmmmmm!!! ).
Service was excellent!
Heading to bed shortly, as it now seem unlikely that Delta will be delivering my luggage tonight. :burningma
I have to admit....I liked both the salad and the strip steak....but it is important to keep a menu fresh too.

Yes! A review!! The Filet sounds like it was wonderful but what the heck are blue lake beans?????
Sounds like it was the trip from you know where...I am glad that you were able to have a nice first night dinner though-:) :)
Look forward to your next review and I hope that your luggage has finally arrived!
