OK, I know that it's a stupid question and I could probably look it up somewhere, but I know that someone will help me out!!!

My use year is February. Does that mean that I have to use all of my 2005 points by end of January 31st, 2006 - or end of February 28th, 2006 (assuming that I don't bank them)

Thanks! Just got my Nov/Dec/Jan travel schedule and I'll need to find somewhere to squeeze in a trip, then to use those points.... Sadly I'll need to cancel the December trip, and may replace it with a November trip instead.

If you're talking about November '05, I wouldn't waste any time. Reportedly pickins are pretty slim right now. Popular time for DVC members.

Oh, I know! I'm fine with trying for a day or two here or there - that's been my travel pattern this year to WDW. And the waitlist fairy has been VERY good to me this year....

I'm just going to try and be flexible and see what happens.

Just so you know bavaria, there is a super secret one time banking allowance that MS will do for an owner. I've never done it myself but have seen it discussed elsewhere. You might want to look into that.

Thanks! I was offered the 'supersecret', and have the CM's name just in case... Was just hoping for a holiday decoration fix in the next few weeks...

I have a February use year on my BCV contracts. I had holding account points that I used in January with no problem. I think January is a good safety month for my February use year.

I have also made last minute reservations in early November and early December before, although I had to be very flexible on where and what.

Jim, that is a good point about January being a good safety month for February use years. I have a March use year, and January is a time we like to travel to WDW. I alwyas thought I would be better off with a later use year, but you are right that January is an easy time to travel and with low points.
