With the new price increase, I guess Feb 1st they are also not going to take DDE anymore.

That's exactly what they told me on the phone today. But they also told me to check at the restaurant anyway when I got there. (Which doesn't make a lot of sense since you have to pay in advance now anyway).

Wow, they are really making it difficult for people to go to CRT, aren't they? I guess maybe that's the idea, it's so popular. I'm just glad I don't have little ones begging me to take them there. I prefer the Princess Breakfast at Epcot, personally.

I agree. They can charge what they want and still fill the place. This will probably be our last time. My youngest DD is 11. She loves it there and we all love eating at the Castle, but enough is enough!

Well I think that stinks! I was planning on having breakfast there for our May trip but not anymore. 6 adults and one child and no DDE. Thinking we may just have breakfast in the villa that morning instead.

My daughters love the princesses but don't want to do CRT they prefer Chef Mickeys so we oblige them every trip with that one.

...we may just have breakfast in the villa that morning instead.$50 will get you your own personal Cinderella delivered right to your villa door. (She has a slight glandular condition but is very sweet with the kids and her legs are shaved.) PM me if your interested and I'll tell him, uh... I mean her.

Thank goodness my DS's have no interest in going though either - $32 for adults for breakfast - highway robbery!

cheers

I agree. The one added benefit is that they do take a group photo of your party when you arrive, and you get several copies of that photo, a photo of the castle and some sort of frame / "photo holder" before you depart. This is part of the meal cost.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the character meals. I know some people view them as tradition and really enjoy the experience. I could take them or leave them.

For our next trip, I decided to book the princess meal at Epcot just to get the meet 'n greet's out of the way. Our daughter adores the princesses, but doesn't care for the costumed characters at this point. Our son has been to the World 4 or 5 times now, so he could largely take 'em or leave 'em.

The first time we took our daughter, it felt like we spent more time waiting in character lines than we did waiting for rides. ;) So, with the princess meal booked for the first morning of our stay, I figure we can get 90% of our character interaction out of the way all at once.

Is 12 years of pscyhotherapy (to rid my child of the visual ramifications of this... 'experience") included that price? :hammer: :faint: :holymoly:
