Hi, thought I would share a few thoughts from our recent trip home:

We stayed at BWV for the very first time and brought along friends with us also for the very first time. Let me tell you, if you ever want a fresh perspective on WDW, bring along an animated adult that has never been before. Such fun watching them play! And hearing all the stories at the end of the day. We did not even attempt to keep up with them, and I am glad we didn't. They did just about EVERYTHING.

We did all the same things that we usually do, go see Off Kilter as often as possible (hi idratherbeinwdw), ride people movers, see Muppets 3D, do ToT, Rockin Roller Coaster and Test Track........ but a couple of our favorite memories were:

Inviting the mousekeeper who was there for T&T day to sit with us and eat a chocolate chip cookie and have a glass of milk. Priceless. I think she was more stunned that she accepted our invitation than the actual invitation!

Meeting several great Mouseowners at the meet hosted by ColoradoBelle and JiggerJ. Lots of nice people there. Thanks again....

We did Typhoon Lagoon one afternoon. We had not been in 4 years and I love that place. The weather was perfect and we were grateful to be able to enjoy such a great water park. Got to try the new crushin gusher (?name of it?). That was a lot of fun.

We got to ride in the front of the Monorail. There were 2 other people riding with us (2 young girls). It was so funny. The girls were taking pictures and the engineer asked them if they wanted her to take their picture. They said yes, so the engineer STOPS the Monorail to take it so the picture won't be jittery! So if you have ever wondered why the Monorail just stops in the middle of nowhere, now we know!

We got to try out Bonnet Creek. We will return if at all possible. I loved that place. And it's location is pretty sweet too.

All in all, as usual, a great trip.

Thanks for reading!

What a lovely list of memories!
I think it neat that you 'visited' with your mousekeeper. We met a really cute lady when we checked out of our room (the noisy one) and into a room in her section!

I'm kinda hoping that Sue will be able to fix me up sometime with a one bedroom Bonnet Creek. I think it would be fun to stay there occassionally too.

Glad you joined us for our minniemouseowners meet! It was great getting to meet you. Are you coming back the first week in October?

I bet it was fun to see the World anew through virgin eyes. I've been to the world so many times, but this last trip...everything I did was new! I blame Pam, ya know and her hubby Tom for letting her 'out' with the girls for a week!

Take care, girlfriend!

Thanks Rozie ;) . Hi CB:howudoin:

Sadly, no we won't be there in October. We have never gone to the F&W festivities! I cannot believe that. Maybe in 2008. I am going with my sister and cousin in Sept. Staying at ASMU. Should be interesting. I can actually get a stomachache if I think about it too much. I have become such a hotel snob it is ridiculous! But we got the free dining, so that should make up for a little, right?:bugeyed: Then VWL (ahhh home) and hopefully BC in December.

Yes, we must remain friends with Sue! She has already said that she will probably be able to work out something for us for December. PM me if you would like more boring details about price and times to reserve.

I forgot to add that the MouseKeeper had given us towel animals. First time ever for us at a DVC resort! She was so cute, I thanked her for them and she ran out to the hall to get her bag full of them and she spread them all out so we could see them. What a fun time that was!

Yes, "virgin Disney fanatic". A wonderful thing to bring on vacation (well that and her husband who was very familiar with the parks so we didn't have to do any hand holding! Or a great adventurous friend!

Take care! Barb

Great "semi-report"! Thanks for sharing!

Hmmmm...monorails stopping for pics? And I thought it was because of monorail "traffic" at the stations :innocent:
