Hi, thought I would share a few thoughts from our recent trip home:
We stayed at BWV for the very first time and brought along friends with us also for the very first time. Let me tell you, if you ever want a fresh perspective on WDW, bring along an animated adult that has never been before. Such fun watching them play! And hearing all the stories at the end of the day. We did not even attempt to keep up with them, and I am glad we didn't. They did just about EVERYTHING.
We did all the same things that we usually do, go see Off Kilter as often as possible (hi idratherbeinwdw), ride people movers, see Muppets 3D, do ToT, Rockin Roller Coaster and Test Track........ but a couple of our favorite memories were:
Inviting the mousekeeper who was there for T&T day to sit with us and eat a chocolate chip cookie and have a glass of milk. Priceless. I think she was more stunned that she accepted our invitation than the actual invitation!
Meeting several great Mouseowners at the meet hosted by ColoradoBelle and JiggerJ. Lots of nice people there. Thanks again....
We did Typhoon Lagoon one afternoon. We had not been in 4 years and I love that place. The weather was perfect and we were grateful to be able to enjoy such a great water park. Got to try the new crushin gusher (?name of it?). That was a lot of fun.
We got to ride in the front of the Monorail. There were 2 other people riding with us (2 young girls). It was so funny. The girls were taking pictures and the engineer asked them if they wanted her to take their picture. They said yes, so the engineer STOPS the Monorail to take it so the picture won't be jittery! So if you have ever wondered why the Monorail just stops in the middle of nowhere, now we know!
We got to try out Bonnet Creek. We will return if at all possible. I loved that place. And it's location is pretty sweet too.
All in all, as usual, a great trip.
Thanks for reading!
